I was in a bit of a rush for a weekend away and looking for the plainest leather paddle available on Lovehoney; no fur, no lace trim, no embossed text... I couldn't find any straight forward paddles that were affordable for me so had to make do with this and settle for having one furry side. My first impression was that the faux fur side was SO soft, I was not expecting something so incredibly strokable. I'd assumed it would be made from a rougher fibre with a cheaper feel considering the price. I was also expecting the fur to add a thuddier impact than I'd like. I tend to prefer sharper smacks so I was concerned the blows would be 'dampened' in some way, but this wasn't as much of an issue as I feared. The smooth leather side delivered very nicely and after a while I bruised like the peach that I am. Although it wasn't exactly what I was looking for I'm so happy I have it in my toy box. It's a perfect size, sturdily made, and with a much higher quality feel than I expected from something so affordable. After a session of spanking, being stroked by the furry side is a lovely way of winding down. I'd recommend this paddle as well as Bondage Boutique as a whole, I really like the stuff of theirs that I own and I look forward to getting more from them in the future.
