I bought the restraints for the ease of use, and they work so well easy to attach, and my sub says they are comfortable especially for long sessions. The product, as usual, turned up within a couple of days, and well packaged. As a surprise, I fitted them in minutes ready for the evening. My sub was taken by surprise. Great Product

My and my partner love these ties. They're very easy to attach and very strong holding. Not the easiest to get out of either. Can attach to bed posts or get clips to connect under the mattress. Love these and they are a great addition to our collection. Highly recommend! The lovely colour makes them sexier.

Our favourite toy

We were looking around for a while for toy that would introduce bondage play into the bedroom that was a little more flexible than handcuffs. When we found this on Lovehoney for such a great price we had to have it. Firstly, the quality is excellent. The rope is soft and tactile and a really great length. The metal rings are extremely secure, and for the price we were ecstatic with the overall construction. After quite a lot of uses these are holding up brilliantly and still look and feel incredible. In the bedroom we love that these are as flexible as your imagination, and can be used in any number of ways, they will even stretch under our double bed and are long enough to all link in the middle. These feel secure when they're on (I quickly found wriggling only makes them tighter!), but at the end of play it was very quick and simple for my boyfriend to help me out. No clips, no keys, no fuss. We went for red as they look a little less intimidating and a little more playful. Only slight criticism was that we had to buy clips separately, but this is really no big deal and they stock them on this website or in any local DIY store.

Silky, sturdy, sensational

Lovehoney generously sent me the Bondage Boutique Silky Rope Position Restraint Set in red in exchange for an honest review. Thank you, Lovehoney! This item arrived in the usual plain brown packaging. You seriously can't fault them for their packaging, it's amazing. Inside the brown paper bag was a plastic bag containing the restraint set with 'Bondage Boutique' printed onto the bag. The packaging is simple and no-nonsense. It's not designed to store the restraint set, so keep that in mind and possibly consider purchasing a toy bag to keep your toys in if you don't already have one! The first thing you notice about the restraint set is how nice-feeling and strong it feels. It feels high quality and is obviously meant to last. There are four restraints, each being just over 1.3 metres long. They can be used in a variety of ways, my favourite being attaching the adjustable loops to the feet of the bed and clipping some cuffs onto the O-rings. Spread eagle, easy peasy! One thing that could be improved about this product is that you need to own or purchase extra accessories to get the full experience with this restraint set. You can simply tie the O-ring side in a knot around your wrists or ankles, but for the best experience you'd want to own a pair or two of cuffs, and some snaphooks to connect them to the O-rings. A quick trip to your local hardware store can solve the snaphook problem, but you're better off purchasing a pair of cuffs or two with your order. Otherwise you might be disappointed after ripping open your parcel only to find you can't play with your new toys right away! Overall, this restraint set is aesthetically pleasing, strong and sturdy, but at the same time soft and luxurious, and does the job! Whether you're an experienced rope addict or a first-time bondage player, I heartily recommend buying this product. It's well worth it!

Your resistance is futile

We received this item as a tester in exchange for an honest review of the product, so would like to say thank you for choosing us to give it a road test. This was dispatched with the fantastic plain P&P label and discreet brown box with packing paper inside that you can expect from Lovehoney. There is no way of telling what is inside without opening it up. The restraints set comes in a clear plastic bag with an oval label that has the company name “Bondage Boutique” and a small barcode label. If it didn’t have the company name on it, it would just look like lengths of rope with metal O-rings in a bag. Upon opening (or should I say tearing it open with eager anticipation), we found them to be nice and soft on the skin, which didn’t rub or leave marks during or after use. The ropes are a nice strawberry red colour with black stitching that holds the O-ring and the loop in place, and a small piece of black leather covering the ends to stop them from fraying. Each one is about 1.28m long with the loop open enough for a hand or ankle and about 25cm wide with a metal O-ring at one end and an easy-to slide-loop at the other. They are long enough to run 2 of the ropes width ways underneath a king size bed when they are connected together with a clip or a ring you would use to hold keys together. For us, we found that for our king size bed they are a little short to connect all 4 together in a star shape underneath the mattress. The O-ring has a diameter of about 30mm, so it is big enough to push the sliding loop through it if you wish to loop them around the posts on a bed. You may have a lot of excess slack depending on the person’s height, but it can be easily shortened by tying it off in the middle or like we did below. The restraint loop will open the full length of the rope up to the stitching of the O-ring. This means that it will easily go round other parts of the body like the thighs. We have a metal framed king sized bed with ends that come up above the mattress, so we tied them around the post to the length required using a reef knot. If used how we used them, the O-ring can clang on the metal frame if not careful when looping it round and during the session. This is our first time using leg restraints as we have only ever used handcuffs. When it came to penetration I extended the leg restraints to full length enabling the OH to move her legs more freely. During penetration the OH couldn’t move her legs into the normal position for missionary. It held her legs down lower, which meant I was pushing more on to her G-spot giving a more intense “O”. The rope itself is smooth, which aids in easily sliding the restraint loop open/closed onto the hand or ankle and tying/untying the knots. Even though it is smooth, there is still enough friction to hold it in place once the hand/ankle loop is pushed down or knots are tied. We found that they didn’t come undone during the sessions. We would recommend these as they are a great set of restraints for beginner or advanced use. They are very versatile and easy to use in so many different ways of restraint. It’s just up to your imagination.

This product is similar to those under the mattress restraint systems but can more easily be packed away for people who need more discretion. Overall a great product and would highly recommend.

Use them almost every time

These restraints were my first proper bondage gear. I used them on my partner first who is very tall, just over 6ft, in a standard double bed. We fed them under the mattress and used DOMINIX Deluxe Chain Hogtie to keep them together. They didn't pull him as taut as I would have liked but he wasn't very into tho experience anyway. I, however, was very eager to try it and, at 5ft, was stretched fully. Personally, I loved that. It made me feel very vulnerable and extra sensitive- perfect for teasing and tickling. The ropes are really smooth and comfortable on your wrists and ankles. And the slip design allows a firm hold no matter the size of the wrist or ankle. I did notice that, if I pulled the rope towards the middle of the mattress, I had enough leeway to remove my hands. For this reason, I'd recommend these to those who are just trying out bondage or want the illusion of being restrained without the true helplessness that accompanies it. If you're using these on someone short, get the DOMINIX Deluxe Chain Hogtie. If you're using them on someone tall, go for a standard clip to reduce their length. You can also vary the position of the ropes around your mattress. I found over the top and bottom increased the length whereas towards the corners or sides decreased it. Or if you pull them right up the sides then you have enough give to angle yourself for more pleasurable entry whilst maintaining that restrained feeling. I do a lot of tugging during sex but these ropes have held firm, no fraying or loosening. Really great quality.

Nice feel

I bought these with my other half with the plan for them to fit under the mattress and they can be left there. They fit well under a double mattress would be too short for anything bigger. The feel of the rope is silky enough to not rub and be uncomfortable, but the loops tighten as you pull on them. Myself and my OH can't wait to use them again.

As a couple fairly into BDSM, under the bed restraints were always going to be on the wish list but don’t feel like you have to be ‘hard-core’ to own restraints. You can use them for something as simple as giving a massage while your other half is tied up, tickling them with a feather or teasing them with an ice cube. These restraints are very soft, beautifully woven and sturdy. They look and feel seductive and live on my bed permanently due to this. You can use a clip to tie these all together by their O rings and put them under you mattress in an X shape. Or just tie each of them to the feet of your bed. Honestly with a bit of imagination the possibilities are endless with these. As they work with a slip knot style, they get tighter on your wrists/ankles the more you struggle. For beginners this probably isn’t ideal and you might want to look at an under bed restraint with built in cuffs as that will alleviate this. I personally struggle a lot especially if the whips and floggers are out to play. I actually love straining against my restraints and tugging them tighter. It’s like instant feedback punishment for moving when I know I shouldn’t. I also get off a bit on the constriction/pain of pulling really hard and making them tight. That said on occasion I have had to interrupt my OH mid-stride to mention that I may be about to lose a limb. Which is a bit of a mood killer. I have a solution for that too though by turning these around and using the slip tie to attach them to the bed- or table legs/various other pieces of furniture, doors, radiators, ceiling hooks ect. I can then leave the O rings free to clip cuffs onto them so I can use our high quality dominix delux cuffs which have never almost relieved me of a hand or foot. These won’t give you rope burns but you may get temporary red marks if you’ve had them tight for a while.You can't secure a sub 100% with these as I have managed to get out of them before, this is due to them slip tying instead of having cuffs. I’ve had these six months and there is no fraying, they look and feel as amazing as they always have. The O rings are super strong and the rope is too. I’m chuffed, they are so versatile, but it may be worth investing in some metal clips to really get the most out of them.

Could be better

I ordered a kit to introduce my new partner to the sexual activities that I enjoyed and this item was part of that. It was exciting to use alongside other bondage items. We had to improvise and use other items to connect the straps together. The straps were a bit fiddly to put under the bed too! It is good value for money but there are better items out there. We don’t use these straps much!

Comfortable and Flexible

I didn't purchase these myself, but my OH did as a surprise. I know they arrived punctually because she had been teasing me all week that she had purchased and received something that she couldn't wait to use. Popping the length of rope through the "O" ring allowed quick and easy attachment to bed posts (or whatever else takes your fancy) and simply slipping the hands or feet through the slip loops allows easy, comfortable, yet restrictive bondage action. Since my OH is new to bondage play, she chose the ideal item for both of us. Easy for her to use, without the trouble of knots and awkward fumbling, and a delight for me to bound in. The flat rope and silky texture are incredibly comfortable,and although its a simple slip knot, they are very secure and writhing and wriggling only tightens them. They are plenty long enough to use as under the bed restraints, and with some creativity, extra looping and the like, can put you in just about any position.

We had to improvise and use other items to connect the straps together. The straps were a bit fiddly to put under the bed too! It is good value for money but there are better items out there. We don’t use these straps much!

I didn't purchase these myself, but my OH did as a surprise. I know they arrived punctually because she had been teasing me all week that she had purchased and received something that she couldn't wait to use. Popping the length of rope through the "O" ring allowed quick and easy attachment to bed posts (or whatever else takes your fancy) and simply slipping the hands or feet through the slip loops allows easy, comfortable, yet restrictive bondage action. Since my OH is new to bondage play, she chose the ideal item for both of us. Easy for her to use, without the trouble of knots and awkward fumbling, and a delight for me to bound in. The flat rope and silky texture are incredibly comfortable,and although its a simple slip knot, they are very secure and writhing and wriggling only tightens them. They are plenty long enough to use as under the bed restraints, and with some creativity, extra looping and the like, can put you in just about any position.

This is a very under-rated product and I wish I came across it sooner! This set comes with 4x black silky ropes which are super soft and comfortable during use. The built in loop makes it quick and easy to secure around your partners wrists and ankles - just slip it over the wrist and pull to tighten. The other end features a metal ring. Personally I didn't make use of the metal ring but instead simply tied my own knot in the rope around the bed head frame. This product is similar to those under the matress restraint systems but can more easily be packed away for people who need more discretion. Overall a great product and would highly recommend.

The material is soft to the touch, very strong, and secure. They look and feel great! There's not a great deal more that can be said really, they absolutely tick every box we need them too and are used as often as we can. And of course, these are no hassle to take away with you either (although could be awkward explaining to airport security if case is checked ha ha)

Comfortable Rope Restraints

My boyfriend and I decided to purchase these on our first foray into bondage... it certainly will not be our last and has set off on an unstoppable kinky course... The product arrived before we expected it to, and the packaging was wonderfully discreet. One would never know that inside is a simple toy which can completely change your sex life and allow you to experience a whole new type of pleasure. We took them away, with a few toys, for a sexy week and had them assembled and ready to go for the duration of our stay. They’re incredibly versatile and can be used for a wide range of positions. Neither of us had really been tied up before and we had a great time experimenting and taking it in turns to be teased. Both of us were extremely satisfied. We thought the loops would allow more versatility than an under-the-mattress set, and bought a DOMINIX Deluxe Metal Carabiner Clip which would have allowed even more options had we got round to them (the metal loops at the ends of each restraint are sturdy enough to take a carabiner and some weight...). We have tried them on a few different beds now and they never fail. The ropes are soft and comfortable, and can be adjusted to a restrictive, yet pleasant tightness leaving whoever is tied up feeling vulnerable, and giving the other remit to see and do whatever they want. This made for amazing and extended teasing and resulted in both of us having incredible multiple orgasms.

Tie me up, constrict me.

As a couple fairly into BDSM, under the bed restraints were always going to be on the wish list but don’t feel like you have to be ‘hard-core’ to own restraints. You can use them for something as simple as giving a massage while your other half is tied up, tickling them with a feather or teasing them with an ice cube. Handing control over to your partner is a powerful feeling and helps to build a stronger bond of trust. The ropes came in a clear plastic bag, no fancy packaging in sight. I loved the look of these as soon as I set my eyes upon them, I adore the idea of rope but I’ve learnt the hard way that rope from the garage is NOT suitable for tying yourself up with. These restraints are very soft, beautifully woven and sturdy. They look and feel seductive and live on my bed permanently due to this. You can use a clip to tie these all together by their O rings and put them under you mattress in an X shape. Or just tie each of them to the feet of your bed. Honestly with a bit of imagination the possibilities are endless with these. As they work with a slip knot style, they get tighter on your wrists/ankles the more you struggle. For beginners this probably isn’t ideal and you might want to look at an under bed restraint with built in cuffs as that will alleviate this. I personally struggle a lot especially if the whips and floggers are out to play. I actually love straining against my restraints and tugging them tighter. It’s like instant feedback punishment for moving when I know I shouldn’t. I also get off a bit on the constriction/pain of pulling really hard and making them tight. That said on occasion I have had to interrupt my OH mid-stride to mention that I may be about to lose a limb. Which is a bit of a mood killer. I have a solution for that too though by turning these around and using the slip tie to attach them to the bed- or table legs/various other pieces of furniture, doors, radiators, ceiling hooks ect. I can then leave the O rings free to clip cuffs onto them so I can use our high quality dominix delux cuffs which have never almost relieved me of a hand or foot. These won’t give you rope burns but you may get temporary red marks if you’ve had them tight for a while.You can't secure a sub 100% with these as I have managed to get out of them before, this is due to them slip tying instead of having cuffs. I’ve had these six months and there is no fraying, they look and feel as amazing as they always have. The O rings are super strong and the rope is too. I’m chuffed, they are so versatile, but it may be worth investing in some metal clips to really get the most out of them.
