I adore this bondage set, the beautiful purple and black fabric feels erotic to the touch and so appealing to the eye. This set is perfect for beginners. The paddle is easy to use. The fluffy side of the paddle offers a firm but subtle smack on the bottom which is definitely arousing. The ribbon handle softens the idea of bondage somewhat, keeping in mind that bondage needs to be safe and fun for all. It really is a beautiful paddle which we keep out on show hanging up on our bed frame The handcuffs are again adorned in the beautiful black and purple fabric. On the inside is the fluffy material, as is on the paddle. Seemingly no matter how tight you fasten the handcuffs, they are not uncomfortable. I have small wrists and these handcuffs fit just fine. The quick release lobster claw clips are ideal and again reinforces the idea of safety regarding bondage. These handcuffs are very pretty to look at and make me feel very sexy when they're on The eye mask is very well made, a tight fit, and a small black flap over the nose for that extra coverage, so no peeking even if you tried! A brilliant idea and going the extra mile to improve the bondage session a little bit further for all. We also have this hanging on the bed frame on show Onto the ball gag. Who knew wearing something as dominating as this could look so pretty. The black and purple fabric, again keeping uniform with the other pieces in this set. The fluffy fabric on the inside. Easy to put on and take off, the ball gag is lightweight, hard plastic, with holes to enable safe breathing, again enforcing the safety during bondage. My partner and I didn't personally favour this piece the most as it isn't something we are into as much as the paddle and handcuffs, it stopped us being able to kiss properly.

This Boudoir bondage kit is sold as a 4 piece kit, and in the past when I've bought kits like this - they've arrived bundled together in a box. This kit, unfortunately, did not and this is where I start the review. It came as 4 separate items in the standard Lovehoney brown cardboard box. They each had their own polythene bag and were nicely folded (in the case of the ballgag and cuffs), so it all looked good, but I can't help but think a box (coloured purple) would have just added to the element of excitement in unwrapping the items. The 4 items themselves are things I would class as essential to basic bondage play. These will restrict movement, speech and sight, and the paddle adds an element of teasing and torture, without causing too much pain. Let's start with the paddle then. Purple silk on one side with a very high class feel, the other side is furry/fluffy and feels so good to touch. The stitching is good and has an additional piece of silk so you can hang the paddle up. The paddle is firm and has two distinctly different effects if you hit on the fluffy side, or the silk side (the silk side stings just that little bit more hehe). I'm really pleased with this one and definitely brings an added dimension into our bondage play. Next, I'll come to the ballgag. Two straps - silk on one side, velvet on the other. There are two rings and between the two - a piece of leather that goes through the middle of the gag. The gag has holes so you can breathe through it, and this doesn't have the usual buckle but uses a double ring so you can feed the strap back on itself through the second ring. This doesn't really allow the gag to be too tight, so really good for beginners. Leaving me with the gag itself - it's made of plastic, and quite solid, but I don't know if it's me, but it's also quite big. Because it's solid plastic - it doesn't have any give, and can be quite hard on your teeth, depending on how far back into the mouth it goes. Definitely fun when the drool goes everywhere tho, and boy does it make you drool. :) The wrist cuffs are super comfy. Again velvet on the inside, and silk on the outside, with velcro straps going around. Am excited about putting my new door hooks in place, and using these in anger. Finally - the blindfold. This feels the cheaper of the 4 and kind of feels like its an afterthought. It's not made of the same velvet (or fluffy material as the paddle) and it's not quite elasticated enough to actually get rid of all the light. There is a little additional flap that fits over the nose, but it's only there to stop you from peeking under your nose. Quality-wise - it's not bad, and for the price - fairly decent. It certainly does what it sets out to do - it added a bit of fun to our bedroom games. Overall - the set is very classy, and I now want to paint my "red room" purple so I can match these items!

My least favourite thing about this item is that it comes package separately in plastic bags - I would have loved a small box to keep it all in together, then there would be no need to use any plastic packaging.

Tight enough that you can

Tight enough that you can give her a pleasant surprise but comfortable enough for her too. Materials are decent and colours are good. Overall quite happy!
