Flattering, sexy and fun

I loved this set. I'm usually quite wary of sets that are wide in size range, such as this one but as a size 16, the 8-16 size fit me perfectly. It wasn't too tight, or cutting in anywhere. I can honestly see how it would fit that range of sizes as it's so stretchy. It's very subtle, the criss-cross design is fun and sexy. I found it quite different from other, girlier styles and loved that it was simple in style. The fit is very flattering, it definitely made my chest look good! Which I was not expecting given the soft, flexible material. It's not underwired, so it wouldn't support a larger chest, but as a D cup it definitely enhanced the area! The bottoms are equally flattering, I have very wide hips with a 'violin hip' aka a double bump and this smoothed over them and flattered the area. I honestly was not expecting to love this set so much, as it's so different from what I normally pick but it's now one of my faves!

Comfort AND sass

The sassy little set arrives wrapped in a plastic bag and presented inside a pink and black LH-branded cardboard wrap. As with all bodystockings, it looks small when you first take it out, but don't be put off! For a simple set it’s well made with no visible imperfections or stitching issues in the good quality tight knit denier nylon. It feels really soft against skin which helps to pleasure heighten touch. Although the fabric doesn’t necessarily provide any support, it’s very forgiving and accentuated and smoothed my figure in all the right places. On my 32E/27/33 frame the black is teasingly almost opaque. The set is advertised as one-size 8-16; there is a good amount of stretch in the material, making this set a great choice whatever your gender and for a variety of shapes and sizes. The strong elastane makes the whole set feel strong and robust - it's easy enough to pull on/off and the fabric bounces back nicely so no threats of misshaping or unnecessary pulls in the fabric. I’ve hand washed and dried it a couple of times now with no issues. The (2.5cm wide) knicker waistband and crop top rib-band are the same ‘knit’ and denier as the rest of the material, giving the set a sleek look. I also particularly like that, apart from these bands and a short line of stitching on the crop top shoulders, there no other obvious seams, which really adds to the slickness and all important comfort of the set - I really could wear this set all day. The crop top has a very wide racer back/shoulder cut which is perfect for flaunting my shoulders and collar bones. The criss-cross feature across the front of the top will stretch to accommodate whatever size and shape boob you have but still feel sturdy. Although not supportive or lifting, the cut did gently ‘encourage’ my boobs closer together to enhance my cleavage. I’m not usually a fan of high-waisted knickers, but these are really comfortable and balance well with the bra top. The knicker gusset is on the narrower side, but still a decent width and stretch, so I felt covered and can easily be pulled to one side without causing any interference to play. To test out comfort, durability and sex appeal, I teamed the set with a pair of black opaque over the knee socks and surprised hubby with a little dance and a whip around my pole; there were no complaints on any count. Hubby loves the look and feel of the black criss-cross ‘slashes’ across my cleavage and hips; the teasing style just begs for him to find the skin underneath when he was finally allowed to touch! This is a really comfy but sexy set and I’d happily wear the top out with a smooth bra underneath (whilst living my 80s rock chick dream!). This isn’t normally a style I’d choose for myself, so thank you LH for sending this one through for me to test - I’ll definitely be looking for items like this again in the future!

For reference, I’m 5ft 6, size 10 on top, 12 on bottom and 36C. I have the usual worries about ‘one size’ clothing, but Lovehoney have really eased those anxieties with my recent purchases so I held plenty of hope for this set. First impressions? Basic, but soft, and not necessarily sexy or too appealing as I unwrapped it and laid it on the bed. The top/bra feels and slightly resembles a couple of sports bras I own, and the cross-crosses on the bottoms looked like they may dig into my hips and leave some unflattering lumps and bumps. So far, not sold on this piece. I tried it on, slipping into both parts with ease. Oh, how I was wrong about it all. For such a simple set, I felt fantastic. The entirety of the set has a great amount of stretch, and those cross-crosses I worried about sat against my hips without a problem. I adjusted them a little to sit evenly apart and admired them (and my hips for the first time in a long time). The bottoms sat over my tummy and all the parts I’m self-conscious of and shaped everything nicely, while the top came down to my waist and the cross-crosses down the chest made my boobs appear a little more ample! That may just be my favourite part.. The entire piece is comfortable, with the nylon giving good support and great build quality. There are a couple of loose threads but nothing worth a complaint. I was really pleasantly surprised with how this set turned out. Here’s to teaching me not to judge straight away. Will be keeping this set in the underwear drawer - the boyfriend loves it, plus it’s incredibly comfortable so will be getting a good bit of use!

My wife generally wears knickers that are a size 18 / 20 bra size 40DD and generally wears a dress size 20.Sometimes more is definitely better. This set features a pair of high waisted full back knickers with sexy, strappy sides. The crotch is a relatively narrow (but by no means small like a thong) which means it can be pulled aside if you can't wait to pull them off!!The vest top has a strappy criss cross across the chest, which just manages to hide your assets, a perfect tease really. Although, my wife did quite like being able to pull the material to the middle and pop her boobs out the side! Both items are comfortable to wear all day, my OH even wore the vest top to the gym (with her sports bra on underneath)I've washed this twice on our standard 30 °C wash cycle and so far, seems to be ok.

I love this little set, it strikes such a great balance between casual and sexy! It is comfortable, fits perfectly and is the type of thing you can walk around the house looking sexy in.
