Let's get physical

A lot less revealing than some costumes but no less sexy for it, this certainly made the heart rates rise in the bedroom! The darts and shape of the costume are excellent for curves, shaping the waist at front and back which really accentuates the bum. The shape along with the deep v-neck (which you can make as deep as you like thanks to the zip) nicely draws the eye to the breasts and cleavage. The silky material feels really nice and just begs to be stroked and touched, and the double-ended zip is excellent for allowing access where needed - and perfect for speedy removal of the entire dress! Altogether it makes for a flattering and fun costume that feels sexy to wear, and equally sexy to unzip. I'm a size 18-20, 38DD bust and about 5'5 and this fits me absolutely perfectly across the bust and waist. It is just a little loose on the hips and skims my mid-thigh. There's a decent amount of stretch all over and the length would still work perfectly for someone a good bit taller too, so I feel the sizing seems pretty good. The belt also sits just loose on me, but still looks good, and is incredibly stretchy. It also makes an excellent makeshift restraint to stop a naughty patient's wandering hands! The material is nice on the skin and everything is decent quality and well put together: totally comfy to wear, though it may start to get a little hot if kept on for a long session. The little nurse's hat is a cute addition and it fits fine and stays up without issue. The pockets being functional is also useful little feature - somewhere to put the thermometer and other little items a busy nurse might need in tending to her patient! A bonus feature is it's also the same style as the other Lovehoney nurse items which means it works perfectly for mix and match - my Lovehoney cage back nurses knickers are a perfect addition. All in all, it's a flattering, sexy, comfy costume and a great addition for some steamy nurse roleplay, I can't wait for its next outing.

A naughty nurse is the best cure

Roleplay is something we enjoy, however, my day job is a nurse so I hadn’t thought about it as a role play outfit until now. A lot of nurses outfits I’ve seen in the past are PVC style and being plus size this is not a material I’ve ever been keen on. However, this outfit is a stretchy satin material so it still has the shiny finish you come to expect but is a lot more forgiving and comfortable. Upon opening the usual excellent discreet packaging the item was a striking white with bold red trim detail. On the front are little pockets featuring a red heart with a white cross on the front (including a cute little Lovehoney logo within). These both add a little detail but are also quite practical, depending on how much of a realistic experience you're going for, these could hold some props such as a thermometer, or sexy extras such as lube or a small vibe or even something practical like condoms! The overall shape with the collar and short sleeves is surprisingly accurate compared to a real uniform although it features a deep plunge showing off a nice bit of cleavage. Completing the look is a tie-on hat and a red belt, these are fun accessories and helped complete the ‘naughty nurse’ look. When I came to try it on I was surprised to find a double zip, there’s two zip pulls allowing you to basically adjust the length of the zip to make it more or less revealing. Putting it on is easy and the zips moved freely and didn’t catch on anything. I started with it fully zipped up, it fitted nicely and didn’t grip. I’m a size 18-20 with 38C breasts and there is enough stretch and room in the material to accommodate bigger girls. Having had two children I found it didn’t enhance my breasts on its own so I added a push up white bra underneath and the end result was a nice bit of cleavage on show. The dress came down to just below my bum and doesn’t leave much to the imagination! Moving the zip up from the bottom a couple of inches puts everything on display but with it all the way down it leaves everything just covered when standing. The hat ties on and I found with my hairstyle it meant my hair stuck out the top but some clips soon got it under control. The belt is elasticated meaning it should fit most and features a very simple to use metal clasp, this is good as it’s easily removable. Overall I liked the look, it’s far enough away from a real uniform that it’s easy to disassociate from the real work environment which is something I worried about. I treated my husband to a full medical check and relieved him of some ‘pressure’ whilst making his blood pressure rise through the roof and I certainly didn’t get any complaints from the patient. I think we’ll be adding nurse to our role play games, after so many years of not trying it we’ve got to make up for lost time!

Flirty Nurse Costume

"I don't care what you think - I'm wearing it out!" is what I thought when the nurse costume arrived. I've loved the look of the Lovehoney Nightshift Nurse costume for ages (I'm a fan of bodies, and the belt looks so cute), but I just have weird feelings about costumes nowadays. The only costume I currently have is a secretary costume, but I feel like that's okay because a lot of my real-life work is secretarial, so it doesn't feel like I'm objectifying other people/trades. I don't know. I struggle with thoughts like this. When I saw this costume I was intrigued. I do normally wear dresses like this as my outerwear, with leggings. The pockets looked adorable and I thought that, other than the crosses on it which give away what the costume is supposed to be, it could pass as everyday wear (you might disagree with me, but I assure you my everyday wear is a little bit quirky). The structure of this piece is what really sets it apart from other fancy dress wear. The fit, with the dart stitching in the front and the back, give a flattering silhouette. Some fancy dress costumes just look like two tea towels sewn together and use accessories to give the theme. This dress is different from that. It was made with consideration of the human shape underneath. I also really like the shape of the collar and the red ribbon trim. It's very neat. The heart-shaped patches on the pockets look sweet, and just add a bit more interesting detail to the outfit. The material is comfortable and smooth. It has a slight sheen, which I guess is the only part I'm not overly keen on (but I don't dislike it). Another really comfortable feature is that the zip at the front does not go all the way down to the hem! My thighs are slightly chunky so, with a lot of dresses, the skirt part stretches and/or wrinkles, which I don't like the look of. This doesn't happen much with this dress. Some folk might not think this dress is revealing enough, but I tried wearing it as an open shirt with my lingerie underneath and it looked just as good (if you do this, try adding stockings or thigh high socks to really pop this outfit). The headband is a fun touch to the outfit and it's very well made. Finally, the belt makes me so happy. It's a stretchy belt that I used to call boogie belts in the 80s. I thought it looked fabulous and I'm going to start wearing these sorts of belts with all my dresses from now on. It's so flattering.

Nice overall

A nice costume but I wasn’t expecting it to be as fitted as it is. Bit disappointed as the costume says 18-24 and I’m a 20-22 and it’s very tight and extremely short. I would have really liked it to be looser and ever so slightly longer. Apart from that, it’s a great product. Just maybe for someone the smaller end of the plus size scale.
