Bondage Boutique Faux Snakeskin Collar with Lead

Quality product that has an amazing look

Let’s face it, those of us in the bondage scene love black and that’s fine but there is so much of it it’s also nice to have something a bit different without taking away from the actual bondage elements (Velcro and lace is pretty and all but we need equipment that does the job and not just nods to it). When I came across this I was really taken by its look, the way the red complemented the gold hardware was just amazing and so different! The width of the collar was very attractive. I purchased it with the matching cuffs and hogtie kit. The collar itself is a very good and generous size I’m a curvy size 18/20 and I know sometimes how disappointing it can be to purchase gear that doesn’t quite fit or leaves a gap at the back. It fits beautifully with lots of room to spare. It’s got a decent weight to it and looks extremely sexy on. It’s really functional with two extra D rings to ensure you can be attached at leisure and kept where you are supposed to be! The chain is beautiful with an antique vibe that detaches and is very sturdy, it’s a lovely length and makes that oh so important jingle. I will be keeping an eye out for more from this range as it really is quality. I would love a velvet bag to keep it in it really does feel something quite special.

This is the third piece of the faux snakeskin collection that I have bought and boy I am pleased with it. The lead and collar are very high quality like the other pieces I have purchased from this brand. The metal hardware is robust and can take some abuse from pulling. The lead has a good length to it, not too long and not too short. The collar is comfortable to wear and easy to put on and remove. It has various different adjustment lengths to find the right fit from person to person. Overall, an amazing product.

When this arrived I was a little shocked by the weight of the parcel, but upon opening it it became clear that it's because this item is solidly made. Strong, yet soft, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality when I held it in my hands. The snakeskin effect is nicely done with a pattern that is irregular and long enough to not look fake. The colouring is excellent, a beautiful ruby with rich maroon dappling. The brass effect hardware comprising of 3 well placed and strong D-rings and round capped studs and buckle closure enhance the overall aesthetic and appeal of the collar somewhat too. The exterior of the collar is soft to the touch with the snakeskin embossing noticeable when you rub your fingers over it. There is also a slight waxy feel to the surface which feels nice as well as lending more authenticity to the material. The interior of the collar is, wisely, not textured in the same way and is very soft and comfortable; both my wife and I have tried it on and have no complaints of chafing or irritation from prolonged use. The lead itself has a pleasing heft to it, as well as a satisfying metallic clank and jingle when coming in to contact with itself as you allow it to run through your grip before snatching it back with a firm tug. It holds up well to use, feels strong and reliable whilst retaining that important comfort factor. It's certainly a step up both physically and psychologically from the felt and velcro number we had before. Measured when on both the first and last holes, should fit necks between 11" and 17" without problem; though there looks to be room to make one more hole at either end if you are careful.

Though my husband and I already have a collar in our toy chest, we thought we would splurge on this one because the faux snakeskin really appealed to us. Boy am I glad we did! This product has been manufactured beautifully! The snakeskin is gorgeous to look at - the deep red colour will make it pop when you wear your favourite little black lingerie item. Not only is the colour exquisite, it is also extremely soft to touch. The collar itself is very comfortable to wear during extended sessions and is easily adjustable. The size is versatile and can be altered to fit a dainty or bulky neck. Additionally, the chain is a nice weight and reminds me of the lead I used to have for my childhood dog, meaning that it will be able to handle resistance without issue. Needless to say, we won't be using our old collar as this one has become a firm favourite!

I love the quality of this compared to other collar sets that had a cheap fabric leash. I love the style of the gold & red and that its vegan-friendly but still quality and luxurious. The two rings either side of the central ring on the collar are great for attaching someone's cuffed wrists too... (I also bought the faux snakeskin hogtie set, these two work great together).
