Lovehoney sent me this product in exchange for an impartial review - lucky me! This feels so pretty to wear and I have it on good authority that it also looks very sexy. It’s feminine, elegant and compliments my body and I really love it! The chemise is well-made and very comfortable! I really like how the straps adjust at the back and have a clasp like a bra, so the body is structured in a similar way to a bralette and provides a good amount of support. The skirt material is very soft and silky, which I enjoy! For me, the knickers are a bit looser than the chamise and don’t sit quite so well, but the knickers aren’t visible while standing and it's not that bad anyway. Just good to note if you have small hips like me. As well as it being sexy, it’s actually very functional as nightwear, or as a bralette and slip combo to wear under dresses or skirt-top outfits. So not just a set to put on for date night!

Cherry blossom dreams

Babydolls have to be my favourite item of underwear to own so when I received my new Cherry Blossom babydoll I was completely over the moon. The first thing that catches your eye is the colour and design, it's absolutely beautiful. Made from a stunning silky satin that is pale blue and covered in cherry blossom, it's soft against your skin and fits beautifully. The bra cups and straps are also the same pale blue but made of a delicate lace material instead. It's such a pretty combination when paired together. When it came to the fitting I went with a medium, I'm normally a 10/12 and a 34 DD/E and it fitted like a glove. Usually I like my underwear underwired in the boob area, so I was a bit hesitant without the boost, but I was pleasantly surprised and I really liked how everything looked. In fact the bralette was my favourite part of this piece. I was really excited to get this on and I was not disappointed, once on the Cherry Blossom babydoll is incredibly feminine and flattering, as it hugs you in all the right places, but the lacey floral cups are everything and make this one very sexy item. The thong too, admittedly I'm not a thong/g-string person as I love a knicker but it's lacey and pretty cute. Summary I was really excited to try this on from the minute I opened my package, I'm pretty smitten with it, so much so I think we can safely say that it's going to be my new bedtime favourite. From the beautiful colour to the delicate lace, the cups are by far my favourite part as they make my boobs look amazing (without any extra added boosting, it's all me!). The colour is completely my cup of tea, it's a nice change from blacks and reds, I really can't wait to try it on again as I'm sure my partner will love it as much as I do.

This babydoll is absolutely gorgeous. Admitted, I do love cherry blossom prints, blue is my favourite colour and I've recently started to really appreciate babydolls again, so this always had a lot of potential to be a winner with me. The fabric is lovely. The lace is soft and the satin is smooth. It feels really well made and the quality is definitely there. The look is understated sexy and a little cute. The lace gives a great view of my breasts and the hemline of the skirt gives a teasing view of my bum. As much as this is the sort of thing I like wearing for my partner, I actually want to wear it for myself just as much to make myself feel good and a little sexy. In terms of the fit, I found it pretty true to size. I have the 1X/2X size and am a size 18/20 with E cup boobs. As I said, this is quite a short piece. I am a little over 5ft4 and not particularly long in the body and it barely covers my bum. That is probably the only thing I would nit-pick at this babydoll for; it could be a little longer (not a lot longer, just an inch maybe).The lace part has a fair amount of stretch to it. My boobs have enough space and don't look like they are trying to escape, which isn't something I can always say with triangle shaped "cups". It would definitely fit larger boobs than mine but the design also won't completely swamp smaller boobs too. The straps are adjustable and the hook and eye fastening at the back has 3 options so you can go someway to getting the right fit for you. The satin is not particularly stretchy. This did prove a tiny bit of a problem when putting it on and a gentle bit of wiggling was needed. However once on, the babydoll fits perfectly. It doesn't cling to my stomach but also doesn't flare out too much either. It doesn't quite have that floaty look that I associate with babydolls, but it isn't quite a chemise either.The thong is actually really nice and doesn't feel like an afterthought like so often happens with these types of sets. It is made of the same blue lace as the top of the babydoll. It fits me with still some stretch left and covers everything it should. It is actually the type of thong you might want to wear even if you aren't wearing the babydoll. Overall, I really love this babydoll set. The colour, the design and the fit are all spot on for me. When I first put it on, I really didn't want to take it off.
