Product Reviews
Soft, Strong and Reasonably Long
Rated 10 / 10

Well, this review ended up coming later as we just had to keep checking it. Just to make absolutely sure... The inflatable spreader bar raised some eyebrows with us to begin with. Inflatable simply wasn’t a word we’d associated with bondage before! I was somewhat concerned as to how effective it might be as a non-rigid item. I needn’t have worried! Out of the box we were struck by just how luxurious this item was. The bar itself is flock-covered making it soft and warm to the touch. When inflated part-way it would probably make quite a pleasant pillow. Inflated fully (around 30 seconds using my own lung power) the bar is surprisingly rigid - certainly enough to hold 2 ankles far enough apart to allow lots of room to play! Other LH regulars might recognise the soft velcro cuffs used in other bondage systems such as the under-bed system. The quality, comfort and sturdiness are all of a very high standard and inter-compatible with each other Mrs F&F having mobility issues (disability) has meant it’s difficult for her to hold certain positions due to the joint and muscle pain. This bar allowed us to experiment with holding her in place gently but firmly, offering comfortable support. With the bar then braced across my chest (again, incredibly comfortable) it would be fair to say that the position allowed much deeper shenanigans with surprising and delightful results! I am now very aware that for the sake of approximately the same storage space as a week’s worth of socks, I can pack enough bondage material to get very creative indeed next time we go away!

Transportable bar
Rated 9 / 10

After playing around with handcuffs on the bed a few times, I wanted something for my partner’s legs. The cuffs we had would only just go around her ankles but were not really secure enough. After a good search, I spotted this on offer and figured it could be fun and a lot easier to store than a solid bar. On the first inspection, it was evident that this is a quality product for the price. The outer material is a soft touch fabric-like material, which makes it comfortable to the skin. Being soft it has limited friction so it doesn’t run the wrong way if it is in your way. There are, however, two seams which feel a bit sharp against your skin if caught the wrong way. With the design of the hook placement, it shouldn’t happen, but just be careful and watch you catch on them. :O The included mask is also a nice and soft addition. The included elastic feels pretty standard, i.e. it works but may give up after a lot of use. Easily replaced, however! As you can rightfully imagine, the mask only adds to the suspense and excitement. Setting up is a breeze! Pun intended as it is inflatable haha. There is a simple valve mechanism that allows you to blow it up at your own pace and air not escape. Takes me 3-4 good puffs and it’s solid. On each end are rubberised plastic loops for the included cuffs to clip on. The holes are just a bit bigger than the hooks included (similar to a small dog lead), so could take similar restraints or be tied to a bedpost… Given it is inflatable, there is a bit of given flex in the bar once inflated, much like an inflatable pillow. It is even possible to bend it in on itself. This hasn’t been a problem for us as of yet, but if your legs want to close, they will! There’s no way around this without a different construction like a drop-stitch design, but this would require a high-pressure pump and you may as well then just have a solid one. We find in doggy it works very well with my weight also on the bars - it angles me in some for extra thrust! Lastly, you have the soft velvety cuffs to keep your legs (or wrists) restrained. As cuffs go, they are most comfortable ones that we own as easy to fasten with the velcro. The cuffs are soft to touch and padded with a sponge-like material. They’re large enough for our wrists and ankles, but couldn’t be used on anything larger like thighs, which is a bit disappointing. Overall, if this was to burst or get lost in transit, it is one item I would very likely order again. If I had space I may get a solid bar, but it wouldn’t be any good for trips away, so it would likely be an addition. Only downsides are: The flex given the inflatable design. Cuffs would be more useful if a bit larger - however, we can use others on the bar. Given the soft material, it might not be as hygienic as metal or leather, no funky smells or stains as yet! Positives, however!: Easy to store. All accessories are comfortable and well made. We like the soft touch. Can take it with us quite easily and discreetly. Gives enough resistance to keep legs apart when I’m going to town. The included mask is very comfortable to wear and should be an item any couple has in their inventory.
