Pjur Back Door is a water based lube designed for anal play although it would probably prove good in any application where you want to avoid silicone lubes. It is quite runny and does not stay on a finger very well for application purposes but can be managed after a little practice. It would lend itself well to use in an applicator. Back Door has no desensitising properties as far as I can tell but is deceptively effective as a general lubricant retaining its lubrication for long periods. My impression was that it integrates with natural body moisture for lasting effect.

I would be reluctant to rate Back Door much above the common alternatives such as K-Y gel and since it is considerably more expensive do not intend to make it my main lube. Having said that it is a very good product that I will keep on hand for occasional use and variation.
