IIt is anything but whisper quiet, so rember your neighbours! However, that is not really an issue for me, it is still a great toy, just be warned. The thing I was really disapointed with, was the quality of the plug. The ridge at the top of the waist of the plug, is rough, where the inflatable bulb appears to attach. It almost looks/feels like it was super glued on. As this is where your ass locks onto it, last thing you want is a really rough/hard surface.. I dont think this will make it out of the draw again. Perhaps mine just slipped though quality control, i would recommmend this product, just buy it in person.
