Lovehoney Sweetheart White Heart Pattern Body

Finally, lingerie that lets me represent my place of work in the bedroom. No really though, the Lovehoney heart logos all over this teddy are a really nice touch! This is a rework of the Barely There teddy, which I already own in black and green and adore. So it's nice to have a Valentine's version to slip into on February 14th! This relaxed, retro style should suit almost anyone, and if you like showing your cleavage without underwiring and push-up cups, it's just the thing. you can tweak the halterneck to get the right fit, too. I love the little red satin ribbon and band which cinches you in at the waist, and the fluttery, flirty high-cut leg. This is great if you like a little more coverage than a bra and knickers, and it's comfy enough to wear to bed, too. My only issue, as with the Barely There teddy, is that I'm only 5 foot, so I could have done with being able to adjust the straps even more. All in all, though, this is a really cute piece that I'll be wearing as soon as it's warm enough to part with my thermal PJs!

Thought I'd get this little bodysuit to try something different. It's so cute on! I found it super flattering, the design means it nips you in at the waist, then the bottom flares out around your hips creating an hourglass shape. I love the way the floaty material makes my bum look too! It's flirty and sexy, especially with the deep V cut at the front, but - unlike some other bodysuits I've tried from other companies - still comfy enough to sleep in. I would have preferred the neck strap to be more adjustable as I found with my body shape that the material around the chest didn't 'keep me in'. A white, strappy bra underneath would look great if you don't want everything on show - luckily there's plenty on here to choose from, so a perfect excuse for another Lovehoney shopping 'trip'!

Sweetheart Mesh Body

I kindly received this 'Sweetheart Mesh Body' from Lovehoney, in return for an honest review. Thank you LH! My first thoughts upon opening this is how cute this will be on the run up to Christmas with its red and white colours. Not only this, I think it would also make a lovely Valentines night outfit with its heart design, although that is still a couple of months away. The fabric on this body is incredibly soft and I couldn't wait to try this body on. It is a One Size body and I am a size 12 and it fit me okay. The red band that is around the waist of the body is elasticated and also adjustable, making it easy to get on/off and for your desired look and fit. I adore the red bow that sits at the centre with the little Lovehoney trademark heart on it. It is eye-catching and perfect for this Sweetheart Body. The elasticated body also accentuates the small of your waist too and makes it very comfortable to wear. This Sweetheart body has a plunging neckline so I wasn't surprised to see that upon wearing that it is very revealing and a lot of my breasts were on show. I am a 32DD chest and although I usually prefer more support, with this floaty body, I couldn't help but like the comfort and more natural look that it provided. I have worn my body so that the elasticated band sits slightly higher up on my waist so that the trim on the body accentuates the curve of my bottom. This also allowed me to feel more comfortable and allowed a more flattering look. My only personal downfall on this outfit is that I would have liked the adjustable band around the neck of the body to be able to tighten more than it allows so that there wasn't too much spare material around the chest area of the body. Overall this is such a cute, fun, floaty novelty body. I think it is perfect for a cosy night on the sofa that you hope might lead to a little bit more action later on! It is also really soft and comfortable and you could easily sleep in this cute little body. Easy to put on and to adjust the straps. It accentuates your curves nicely and it is also really revealing so tempting for your partner/lover.

As sweet as it is tight

Ever thought it a shame that Lovehoney doesn't do more with that simple yet effective logo of theirs? It is a shame no more, indeed the logo is difficult to miss on this piece, to the extent that you become one giant (sexy) advertising canvas with this body on.While no one ever says 'I go simply wild for mesh' in the way that they do for leather, satin or latex, there is a lot of positives: the confidence-boost of feeling covered, yet still allowing a tantalising glimpse of what is underneath. Certainly, in white mesh, the outline of nipples for instance are hardly obscured, but so much about what makes lingerie sexy is the tease of 'there, but not quite'. Here, I think mesh works better than a great many other fabric choices, and the many (many, many) red heart logos do help with the subtle conceal. Fit-wise, there is an adjustable strap around the neck and again around the back. This is always welcome to achieve a more customised outfit. I love the plunging neck line more than it loves me: I always find that my ample chest benefits from greater support. The high waist-line (with a red bow and yes, you guessed it, the Lovehoney logo) perfectly complimented my own high waistline. Below this was where I ran into problems with the fitting. To hold the garment in front of you, it seems that the bottom of the body is meant to be quite floaty, almost like french knickers. my mum-tum completely removed this 'floatiness', and whilst this might not sound too bad, my husband's only criticism of it was that it looked like it couldn't decide whether it was supposed to be tight or loose.So, I ended up wearing a body that was loose where I would prefer tight (around the bust) and tight where it was supposed to be loose (the mum-tum). Overall, this didn't make for a great look. As I'm a size 16-18, I wonder if I might have fared better with a size 22-24 rather than an 18-20 just to maintain the floaty-look all over (if larger sizes are available). I think on a similar size, but with a pear rather than apple shaped body type, this would work a treat.

The Sweetheart body is all kinds of cute. It's similar in cut to the Barely There teddy, with the exception that this piece is not crotchless and the colours are pure sweetness. I adore the mixture of red, pink and white. And, as a fan of patterns, I love the heart print (especially as some of the hearts are of the Lovehoney logo, which really adds a freshness to the design).I find the floatiness of the fabric exquisite, I have incredibly sensitive skin so I enjoy wearing light/loose clothes which isn't always the sexiest look. I've been compared to a cloud before in négligée which, although I appreciated the comment as a nephophile, killed the mood somewhat.In this piece I felt adorable, comfortable and Rubenesque. I don't think this is the sexiest piece on the website, but it shows off my cleavage and flatters my butt which gives me confidence.The elasticated straps can be adjusted, which changes how high the piece can sit on your body; so you can show off more or less breast and butt if you wanted. The waistband is ruched so the body flares out at the hips, which I think just looks divine. Overall, a well-made and great quality body.
