Really good buy

I was impressed with this massage oil. The smell was divine, sweet but not sickly. It has a lovely silky texture when using it, and doesn’t go sticky at all, which often happens with other oils I’ve used. It’s a good sized bottle too. We had lots of fun with it!

The best I've had

After receiving a free Lovehoney edible massage oil, I was curious about the world of massaging. I decided to buy this because of the amazing reviews on other websites, too, and because it was in the sale. I actually ended up buying two bottles because of how good the reviews were. Firstly, it’s hemp based, vegan, and sulphate and paraben free, so you’re not exposing your skin to any nasty chemicals. It smells absolutely gorgeous, sweet and sexy without being sickly sweet. Although it doesn’t taste strongly of vanilla, it does the job and is safe to consume, so I wasn’t too bothered about not feeling like I was eating an ice-cream. The smell does last a very, very long time. The consistency and texture is perfect. It’s not horribly thick or sticky, and sinks into the skin perfectly. It didn’t make me break out, which is a problem I’ve had with other massage products. A little bit goes absolutely miles! I literally used about the size of a five pence piece in my palm, and easily covered my OH’s entire back and shoulders. It feels so soft and silky too, and it doesn’t feel greasy, which is hard to believe. The bottle is absolutely massive, too. You’ll get many many more uses out of this than you would buying three little ones (which would work out the same price). You would get a quality product, which would last you longer and that you’ll look forward to using more. Mine did, however, come in a black bottle, not the see through one in the picture, which I liked better, it gives it a slightly mysterious and sexy look. Definitely worth it for such a quality product, absolutely perfect.

Amazing

I love to give massages to my partner, and she loves receiving them! They tend to get us both very excited, which tends to be a problem, as most oils taste terrible, so that rules out some things after a massage. Not any more! This product is perfect. It's the best massage oil we have come across! As a massage oil, it works amazingly well. Not a lot is needed, so the product will last a long, long time. The biggest plus point, though, is definitely the taste! It's not overly sweet as I expected most of these products to be, and not too oily to taste either. The smell, too, is really sensual and makes you want to lick it all off, which really adds excitement! If you're into sensual massages I cannot recommend this product enough! Like I said earlier - best massage oil ever!

Wonderful - and long-lasting

My SO loves massages, but because I'm not all that bothered, I probably don't do them as often as I should. Part of the reason has been massage oils that are flowery, sticky or just plain... well, oily. This stuff has changed all that. It feels and smells wonderful, and it goes a long way. No need to wash or wipe up, and it leaves the skin feeling nice and soft. The only thing I can't really comment on is the edible aspect as I've not really put it anywhere I have then tasted! I genuinely enjoy the process of giving a massage much more now, and my SO definitely isn't complaining!

Brilliant oil, but lacking fragrance

My OH and I love giving each other massages so I thought I'd treat them to this edible oil to introduce another element to the play. This oil does a great job and a small amount goes a long way. It leaves a silky feeling to the skin without any stickiness or residue. Great amount in the bottle for the price.Only criticism is that there is only a subtle taste of vanilla. Would be nicer if it was more flavoursome.

Great massages, messy consequences

This oil smells absolutely phenomenal, and is as oil should be nice and slippery. Which all in all leads to a wonderful massaging experience, it gently works into the skin as to not ruin any bedsheets! However if it does leak from the bottle (which in our case it did) it stained EVERYTHING it touched. Even when the bottle was upright it managed to leak into the most unexpected place. The product its self is wonderful although I must implore if you buy this re-bottle it or keep it where it cant leak on anything!
