The reviews almost put me off buying this because of how much everyone was going on about the higher power settings. Don't be intimidated! My gf and I tried all power and rhythm settings on the first try out of the box using the pads directly on our most sensitive parts. This was our first time trying any electro-anything. Here are the results. Power setting 1 and 2 are pretty much undetectable. I imagine this is to avoid an unwanted shock when turning it on rather than to actually use. Weirdly, between 7 and 10 felt quite uncomfortable for both of us and I couldn't imagine going any higher at first. BUT above level 10 is where all the fun begins. No joke, completely soft to orgasm (no touching whatsoever) in 10 mins with power on 20-24. Location is EVERYTHING! Moving the pad less than 1cm towards or away from certain areas will completely change the sensation and intensity. Power levels and what they felt like to us: 1-2: nothing at all 2-6: The sensation begins as a prickly, sort of uncomfortable pins and needles, and builds to warm tingly water running under the skin like a current along with the pins and needles feeling. 6-10: this is the scary bit on the first go. Starts getting quite uncomfortable and feels like it will burn if it goes any higher (it doesnt). 10-18: ROCK HARD leaking everywhere 20+ The feeling of "about to cum" for minutes on end. I have been considering purchasing an ElectraStim set for a while and after doing some research on the internet and reading the reviews I took advantage of a discount offer and ordered this basic set to try. It feels like you have invisible hands caressing different areas and the different modes and intensity settings provide very different sensations. On the low intensity settings you get a gentle pins and needles buzz and on the higher setting this turns into a more painful feeling - good to punish the sub if he/she is naughty!
