This is something you usually think of in the moment and then try and remember that you need one. I was using rope to connect the cuffs we use. This makes it so much easier for me and more difficult for her. Attempting to remove this is far more difficult than you think when your hands are in cuffs, and my wife tells me that it takes her longer now to find her way out, if she can at all.

Very strong

I bought this clip purely because you can never have too many of the "essentials", plus these clips are always good for camping haha! The clip itself is bigger than an ordinary carabiner clip, as it is built for bondage purposes, but it isn't freakishly big. It is very strong and heavy duty and does the job well. I guess there is only so much you can say about a clip. It's strong, it's not ugly and it is heavy-ish for something its size. A very useful essential tool, that you can never have too many of. The possibilities are endless. So let your kinky mind run wind with this! A good buy!

Join Your Restraints

Bought this for a restraint system where all the ropes have D-rings to connect to one another. Was really handy having Lovehoney supply this carabiner (they do other clips but do not look as strong as this). Perfect for its intentions, is fairly large and chunky, but I'm not worried about the ropes putting too much pressure on it like I would have been with the other clips. Little bit stiff at first to open and close, but just sprayed a little WD40 onto the hinge and works like a treat.

Industrial Quality Kink

The DOMINIX carabiner was sent to me as a tester, and although it’s only a small item (in both value and size), I was so happy, as I’d been secretly hoping I would be chosen for it. When it arrived I was actually taken back by just how industrial it looks. It is actually shinier than in the picture, although not as shiny as stainless steel items. It is around 80mm in length, and weighs 56 grams. It is stamped with “MAX 230KG”, which just reinforces the industrial image this carabiner carries. It is extremely well made - the hinge feel stiff, robust and purposeful, the clip part is well machined, smooth and makes a loud “clink” when you close it. My first thought was, as it always is when I get something clippy, “I must get my nipple in it”. So that’s exactly what I did. I clipped it around my nipple, and ouchy! It sure has a tight pinch, which I think is because of the relatively small surface area doing the pinching. So, I kept it on my nipple for 20 minutes whilst I did some household chores. I then switched nipples and wore it on the other one for 20 minutes whilst doing more chores. Following this I had extremely sensitive nipples for at least 12 hours. The pinch is less intense than the clamps I use, and much less severe than biting, but they really did leave me extra sensitive. The main reason I wanted the DOMINIX carabiner was to attach to the DOMINIX leather cock ring with O-ring and the DOMINIX Heavy Wrist cuffs, and then using the DOMINIX 28 inch chain to connect to a spreader bar. This I loved - I felt the most restrained I have ever felt, and every movement you make is felt through your cock. The whole DOMINIX range just oozes serious bondage, and for me that image just takes bondage play to another level. I know I’m restrained, which excites me, but I also know the kit that is restraining me looks the part, feels great and there is no way I am going to get out of it. The clip doesn't open awfully wide, but this hasn't been a problem for us - although it wouldn't clip round the spreader bar, we were able to slide it over the rings that attach the cuffs to the bar and then let the bar go through the carabiner that way I think this carabiner would also be entirely trustworthy for suspension bondage too.

I bought this clip to attach cuffs onto a spreader bar which I recentlybought. As always the product arrived in speedy time and in it’sdiscreet packaging. When first opening the parcel I realised I hadunderestimated the size of the clip. It was larger than I hadanticipated but I that is my fault for not reading the specificationscorrectly. The clip is strong and would require a great amount offorce to break. It was perfect for attaching cuffs to the end of thespreader bar. The clip is easy to secure and unfasten. However I hadalso hoped that it would fit through the holes in the bar so that Iwould be able to attach wrist cuffs. Unfortunately the clip was to largefor this purpose. Still it is perfect enabling cuffs to be attchedto all kinds of different items and I would have absolutely no concernsover its strength and durability.

Tried and tested

A minimalist bondage item that does exactly what you would expect - and more. Stamped with "230kg" I was intrigued and decided to actually test the strength of one of these. Not expecting too much as I usually deal with climbing kit that is tested to multiple tonnes I fired up the test rig. At 2.7kN (~ 275kg) and no visible movement or deformation I decided enough was enough. While I would never use anything other than rated climbing carabiners for any suspending, these are not some flimsy Chinese featherweights and should stand up to quite some abuse. I'd strongly suggest oiling the hinge with the tiniest amount of WD40 or similar though to prevent the nose from staying open a little and snagging on some lovely lingerie.
