These stockings are simply amazing to wear, I love how they catch the light and the zipped back makes them easy to put on. This amazing pair comes with mesh below the ankle to prevent you from overheating. My overall impression of the stockings is that they can really complement my legs. They can be used alone or with a full outfit, however, the stitching on around feet stand out a little when I look closely, so shoes are preferable in my opinion. The downside to these is that over time they can build up heat and become a little damp. Normally I wouldn't mind however this in conjunction with the zip can cause rubbing and discomfort. I was genuinely enjoying wearing the stockings until I had been moving around for over 20 minutes. Once I had taken them off there were only slight signs of rubbing from the zip. To me, the feeling you get from wearing them far outweighs this tiny cost. Just so long as you are only wearing these for a session and not for a long time.

This is the second pair of wet-look stockings my wife has. These have the added attraction of the zips, which add a very sexy look. I'm in agreement with other reviewer, that the foot section is not wet-look but sheer, which isn't a problem. In fact it is a nice touch. My wife found the stockings stayed up easily and she does have long slender pins. However, they have been worn with PVC suspenders and very high heels as well, which produced a very sexy look.

Being a wet look fan, I was pleased to be able to review the Coquette Wet Look Stockings with Back Zip. These stockings come packaged in a cellophane wrap with a somewhat dated looking card insert, with front and back views of the stockings. Nothing you wouldn't expect when buying stockings. Out of the packing the stockings have a dark black wet-look, high-shine sheen. Being wet look, you get the appearance of latex/rubber, with the comfort and ease of wear of stretchy fabric. The stockings consist of sheer mesh "pop sock" feet. The main leg has a fully functional silver zip with large ring pull running up the rear top half, and a hook and eye fastening at the very top. I found the construction to be first rate. No loose threads. The mesh feet are very securely stitched to the leg. The zips never got stuck, and the hook and eye is very secure and won't yank off if you're a bit rough, or on the lager side. The function of the zip and hook and eye aside from being decorative is to make getting the stockings on easier. In some respects it's not that easy doing it solo. I found the foot and calf quite snug. The zip didn't just pull up. I found it easiest to do up the hook & eye then pull the stocking up my leg then do up the zip, making sure to pull the material together for it to do up. I tend to wear size 10-12 in clothes with thighs slightly on the slimmer side, which did reflect in the fit. I thought they could've been a touch smaller on the thigh, but these stockings would easily accommodate a larger thigh without sliding down. Being a tiny 4"10' I did find these stockings bunched up on the rear of my leg. It's not a big deal to me, but if you do have short legs they won't look as good as they do on the longer legged model. I chose to wear these stockings out for an evening instead of leggings or tights with an outfit, and got some nice compliments. The presence of the zips gave the illusion of wearing thigh high boots. Teamed with knickers and a bra top, or a mini dress or mini skirt and top in wet look material, makes for an extra sexy bedroom outfit to excite your partner.

If you want to look like 'sex on legs' these are for you

Feel and look amazing. These Wet Look Zip stockings really finished the look I was aiming for when I went to a burlesque/BDSM party. I wanted something that was warmer as the party was in October, something that was more robust than conventional stockings and of course they needed to fit in with my wet look outfit. I wore a wet look bra, cropped/tied-up shirt, leather panties and heels. I will upload a photo to the site shortly as it was really a great outfit. I am age 50, size 6/8, 5ft 5”, thin ankles, average thighs and they fitted like a glove. Fairly stretchy so would also suit larger legs. They are not the cheapest wet look stockings out there and have to say the zip is not that smooth bit can overlook that for the amazing look they give. Would recommend them.

I thought I’d treat myself and order these beauties. I put them on as soon as they arrived and they are a roomy fit (I’m 5’8, 14-18). I love the look and feel of the wet look material and found them to be comfortable. The zippers at the back of the stocking is a nice touch too. They are quite roomy and I would recommend wearing them with a suspender belt or something; as I found they tended to slip down whilst i moved about. The only let down for me is the foot area of these items. The wet look material stops at the ankle and is met with tights material. If you love to see your tootsies I’m sure you will love these stockings! However for myself, it completely detracted from the initial killer look. It kind of reminded me of the pedal pushers I used to wear as a teen!

I saw these online and was instantly drawn to the zips. I opened up the packaging and was a bit disappointed to find they weren't as latex-looking as they appeared in the pictures. I tried them on, which was easy to to because of the zips. I understand that these are 'one size fits all' however that's not quite the case. I'm size 8-10 and don't have the slimmest legs in the world, but these just wouldn't stay up. When first putting them on they kept sliding down around the knees, and after a few minutes play wearing them, they just wouldn't stay up. I would say these would fit legs better that are on the wider side. I was a bit unsure about the mesh feet when I saw it mentioned online, and I'm still not sure after seeing them in real life. When I pull up the stockings, the mesh comes to above my ankles, which honestly just looks a bit silly. They may be better for someone with larger feet? (I'm a UK size 6).

Firstly - they the wet look fabric is from just above the ankles. Below that is a sheer black fabric. Not an issue in my opinion - in fact I think it gives them a unique, attractive look. Secondly - in agreement with the last review these are pretty wide around the thighs. I'd go so far as to say they need suspenders to keep them up. Again - that's definitely not a problem in my book but I get the feeling most people might be expecting something more akin to hold ups. Maybe on legs as long as the models they'd. stay up - but I'm dubious. In summary - I really liked the look of them and I'm OK with the compromises. Just be aware of them when you decide....

I ordered my usual size, and I don't know if the sizing on these is big or if the material is just cheap and loses shape easily, but they won't stay up. It's rather disappointing because they look incredible in the product photo.
