Seven 'til Midnight Lace Eye Mask

Okay so I received this nearly a month ago and last night it dawned on me that I hadn't taken it out it's wrapper yet to try it on. I wasn't sure what to expect really as I've never had a mask before but this is just gorgeous. It looks exactly like it does In the photo, made my eyes pop and added a sexy mysterious element-I had to put on lingerie and stockings I'd ordered from LH as well and had a photoshoot :P The material isn't rough or uncomfortable on the skin, you can see out it fine although you do need to play with it to get the positioning right around the eyes as it can be annoying if not just right and it has a lovely satin tie at the back to secure it. I would definitely wear this again, who am I kidding I'm going to wear this every opportunity I get. Worth the money and I recommend it.

Everyone loves to accessorize lingerie to bring attention to their best features. Some nipple clamps to accentuate your bust, High heels (the kind that did into your partners shoulders during sex :P) to lengthen your legs, even handcuffs to draw you're partners attention to your petite, slender hands ... Though I do like these parts of my body, I do love to emphasize my eyes, and what best way to do that, than with a mask. Once the mask arrived I was ecstatic to find that the product was one from the 'Seven till midnight' range, as I'm a huge fan of their gorgeous well made lingerie, so expected the same quality from the mask. The Lace mask comes in basic packaging, seethrough platic to see through to the product inside which is wrapped around a piece of carboard to keep its shape and a label above which provides a picture and a description that the mask is black and 'one size'. Now , personally the picture put me off a little. The model has blonde hair and is rather fair in skin colour therefore the mask just looked very severe against her complexion. Being a similar skin tone, (though a brunette) I was unsure if this mask would end up looking more Halloween than seductive and sexy. Other than that my worries were minimal. Upon opening the packaging I wasn't surprised by the quality of the material. The lace is a very thick strong material and the mask is made up of a gorgeous design of pattern work including a floral design. The mask on its own is around 28cm in length. The tie at the back, again is made of very strong black ribbon that doesn't and probably won't fray at the ends, both sides are securely stitched in place and each piece of ribbon measures around 45cm in length. The one problem I can say, is the ribbon creases very easily and due to the slightly insignificant packaging that can be easily thrown away, unless you like to keep items folded and neat, the creases will stay. The masks width fits in the middle of my forehead and covers my nose (not unsafely) and the ribbon starts just behind my ears, so it's a very good fit. Trying this mask on, you will notice there is a circular pattern just below the flower print in the centre. Now from the picture, that circular pattern, has been shown to go over the nose. However, to be quiet honest its up to you which way you'd like to wear it, though there a subtle indictors, such as the way the eyes slant that may help you decide which way round to place the mask. What I found when putting the mask on, is that due to the flimsy material, it kept catching my eyes as I was putting it into place, and once in place it could be a little uncomfortable (depending on how tight you put it on) as my eyelashes kept being irritated seen as the eyes holes are quite narrow and for someone with long lashes, it can be annoying. Though as I said, that is dependant upon how tight you decide to put it. The looser the mask the more freedom for your eyes. I was actually a little worried that the material, being strong and thick, would be rough on my skin or maybe scratching my skin, yet because of the good quality, there weren't any excess pieces of material or thread available to irritate my skin with. Looking at my reflection, I was a little dubious. The floral pattern work makes the mask feminine though the black is very harsh and quite severe as I expected. Fortunately, for those into a little dominatrix who would like to have a change from latex and leather, this is perfect! I do like this mask and It does make my eyes stand out, in fact they look very dark and sinister-like however I do wear quite harsh black eyeliner around my eyes in the first place so that will provide some of the severity seen when I wear the mask. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for a delicate style mask. I think It's missing a few well placed sequins and such, if you'd like to make it that bit softer. If your happy to do so then go ahead, as its great quality and could probably withstand some minor modifications. To some this piece up. Its an acquired, unique taste but I can't really fault the product itself! (Having had the lucky opportunity to test this product, I am unaware of the cost which Is why I give this product a 5/10 though I'm sure it's worth the money with this quality)

Simple yet very effective

I ordered this mask for a 'naughty' weekend getaway with my girlfriend. It arrived quickly and discreetly as always with Lovehoney. The mask comes in simply plastic packaging and it wrapped around a piece of card to keep it flat. Once removed from the packaging the mask feels great to the touch and is really soft. We worries it may scratch or irritate my partners skin but this is not the case. My partner wore the mask during foreplay and it looked amazing and she felt sexy in it too, loving the slight feeling of being anonymous. I certainly loved her wearing it. The lace deisgn looks amazing and looks like a high quality product and the tie ups are strong. The eyelets are wide enough and large enough to allow vision easily. But one issue found with the mask is it needs to be tied quite tightly to prevent it sliding down during use and covering the user's eyes. We also found it's useful as it holds long hair up/back during foreplay, which is a handy added bonus!! Overall this is a good value product and for the price is a LOT more than was expected. This simple mask can change the atmosphere in the bedroom.

Added mystery to our fun

This was my first eye mask and certainly hadn't let us down! It's so well made and allows to be tied at the back so you can get a perfect fit! It didn't move either during foreplay or sex which was an added bonus! My favourite part is the eye area, the shape is so feminine and really adds to my eyes. Just so sexy! I love role play, this was great with a new wig that my husband hadn't seen before. Really added to the mystery side! Great value for the price too!
