The bodystocking arrived in the usual simple packaging you would expect from similar LH products, or their other stockings and knee-highs for example. Just wrapped around card with a plastic poly bag. Easy to get out - not always possible to reuse for storage. Out of the package I had flashbacks to my emo days with all of the mesh arm-warmers and tights I got from Claire's. But once unravelled, even for how technically shapeless it looks before you put it on, it was remarkably easy to work out which way was up and how to get everything on. The hardest part was possibly getting the collar part on over my head, but it wasn't that much of a struggle to get on or off. I am 5'4" also and I found that the legs were a little long and therefore the material there was a little more lax than I would like. But it isn't noticeable once it's all fixed on properly. There's also a pretty good support in the chest area for what it is, probably especially if you're bustier like I would be (36DD) The asymmetrical design comes in the spiralling dark band in the mid section, but the rest of it is pleasingly balanced. The straps around the neck and upper chest in particular are very sexy and have a sort of art deco feel to their lines. The back shows off the butt in a really nice way, but I got it in my head that the dark section at the top of the but looks like the Batman siginal and I can't stop thinking about it - I certainly don't mind though! Also, and I can't explain how because it's obviously mostly mesh, but it was oddly kind of good at keeping heat in? Again, not complaining! I hate being freezing in lingerie haha Overall, a really lovely piece, kind of dark and sexy, and my boyfriend really enjoyed seeing me in the collar too. Finally, Lovehoney send me something that arrives through the letterbox - nondescript plastic rather than the cardboard box. As usual, though, copious inner packaging paper protects the purchase. The body suit comes in the standard Lovehoney stocking pack with a cardboard sleeve including front and rear illustrations. This is actually quite useful in this case as bodysuits can be a bit of a conundrum. Tricky to tell what awaits as you remove the inner card, taking care, in my excitement, not to ladder the legs, but as soon as it's on, this body really comes alive! The asymmetric pattern across the tummy looks fantastic and the high cut over my bum gives a great view to the rear. I like the way the integrated choker-style collar draws the eye upwards with the adjoining straps seductive across my chest. The stockings give plenty of room for my 31-inch, slightly skinny pins and look suitably hot. The only minor issue is that it is a little loose around the pelvic area, but I have no hips and normally go 6-8 in knickers, so this probably won't be a general issue. The whole thing feels really comfy as the fishnet adjusts to hug my body. The material is plenty stretchy enough, if a touch 'catchy'. In the bedroom this will be a sure fire hit for instant impact, especially if pre-hidden under a robe or similar. It may be a little tricky to gracefully slip out of in the height of passion, but that's all part of this seductive style of lingerie. This particular Lovehoney offering is unusually not crotchless. For me, it's too nice to be torn off first time around, so maybe the slacker fit down below will be an advantage after all for sliding swiftly aside.
