Really brings out the girl in me

Combined with a sexy outfit I've bought on this site. This wig really has really transformed my look, so much so that I might just decide to come out about this side of my sexuality and show the world how I look as a girl. After a little playing around with the style, and some gentle brushing, this completes my transformation.

Does the job

For price this is not a bad wig. Takes a little playing around with to get to look right, but put a new spin out our roleplay. It was packaged well and turned up in good condition. Totally put a new spin on the mistress part. Very dominatrix with the right gear on we thought we would get, and are not unhappy with it. We will get more for roles needing to be played out. Does not itch and it stayed in place while having maximum fun. Does not style like photo on the packaging in the box. Was easy to brush though. Good for all roleplay.

Sexy maid mistress

I was a bit unsure about adding wigs to our dress up fun but am so glad I did. This of course changes my personality and I feel that I can put more into what I want. I have tried this on to go with a maid costume I have bought and am very pleased. My OH will be knocked off his feet and then I guess I'll have to clean him up of the floor in my maid's costume. ;-) The style is different from seen. It has a straight fringe but that doesn't bother me. One side flicks up a bit but nothing a shuffle doesn't sort. The wig is lovely and soft, doesn't cause me itching and mine came with a wig net to help keep safe. I think for the money this is a great buy to start of my double personality thing.

Black No.1

I received this as a tester and, already owning a few wigs myself, I was eager to see how this one compared to them. The first thing I noticed upon unwrapping it, is that there isn't a wig cap included, which I thought seemed a little unprofessional. A wig cap isn't strictly necessary, but I sort of expected there to be one. Never mind, though, that is only a minor point. Upon getting the wig out of the plastic sleeve it comes in, I thought the hair felt really nice and soft. It wouldn't ever be mistaken for being real, but the fibres feel soft and quite silky to the touch. The colour is nice and lustrous, and also very even throughout. It says on the packaging that it is safe to use hair spray on the wig (which I tried out and can confirm works fine), but not to use heated implements because it is made of synthetic materials. Once I put it on, I spent quite a long time adjusting and styling it in the mirror, but was ultimately unable to get it to match the appearance in the item image. Once on, the wig looks a bit "chunkier" than shown. The fringe isn't styled to sweep across to one side as shown above, it is cut straight across (covering all my forehead, but not getting in my eyes, so it is a nice length). The way the hair sits around the shape of your head doesn't match the item image either. The hair curls nicely just under the jawline as shown, but it is layered and sticks out a little more. I think the item image above has been photoshopped to make the outline of the hair appear more spherical. I did notice as well that a few little clumps of hair came out whilst combing, despite being fairly gentle. The build of the wig is more than passable considering the price tag, but it isn't amazing. The hair is sewn into the base in spiral layers and I noticed that one of the layers on mine wasn't attached very neatly in the middle and so mine has a clump of hair sticking out at an odd angle at the back. It's not a huge deal, though, a few snips with a pair of scissors sorted that out. There also isn't any way of adjusting the cap around your hairline either. A few of the other wigs I own have little straps to allow you to adjust the tightness of the hairline, so I thought it worth mentioning that they weren't present here. Ultimately, this is a pretty good wig for a bit of light dress up. It doesn't feel itchy during prolonged wear, it isn't too hot and the hair fibres feel nice and soft. It's easy to style and the hair keeps its shape well. It isn't terribly convincing, though. The style is perfect for retro fancy dress, but just as a fashion accessory I feel it doesn't really cut it. For one, it doesn't look very feminine (due to the 'chunkiness' mentioned above) and so for a woman dressing up, it might not make you feel like the sexy vamp you truly are. Similarly, if you're purchasing this as a guy looking to cross dress, I would probably advise you to buy a longer, more feminine wig as this one looks a little blunt. I mean no offence to women who have their hair styled on the shorter side, I just mean that the shape and cut of this particular wig isn't very flattering or feminine.

Chicago night out - or in

I bought the wig for a fancy dress birthday party, but also with a view to playtime dress up. It comes packed in a box with a small plastic bag containing the wig. As other reviews state, it's a cheaper product and so the quality reflects this. However, it is glossy, has a small retainer hairnet and is pretty comfy to wear. It looked better after a bit of fussing, a couple of hair pins and a smidge of hairspray. It sits a little bouffant on me, but was happy with the overall look. I had some very positive comments about it and it did the job. I doubt it would take much brushing or fiddling with and the inner net would not keep it stable with very energetic jiggy business, I would guess. If you are looking for an inexpensive entry wig, with a good strong colour, that isn't going to be expected to bear much harsh treatment - then for the money, you could do worse.
