The Jack

We would just like to thank the Lovehoney staff for choosing us to test out and review this product. As with every Lovehoney order it was dispatched in plain packaging with a plain P&P label. This was sent in a medium sized brown box with plenty of internal packing, so there was no shaking and guessing from the postie! The Jack Rabbit comes in a vacuum formed clear plastic packaging, so it can be easily seen. The cardboard inserts gives you the information on the functions and it's labelled as an advanced toy. The toy itself is made from a nice soft rubber material that is not sticky before or after use like some other toys. The Jack Rabbit has 3 powerful motors - 1 for the rotation in the shaft and beads, 1 in the bullet located by the beads, and 1 in the rabbit body. The rotating shaft has 4 increasing speeds including the reverse rotation. The bullet is activated when you start the shaft rotation and has 4 vibration speeds, which change as you increase the shaft rotation. The rabbit body has 10 speeds, the first 3 stages are increasing constant vibration then on to 7 random patterns, i.e. a pulse mode, and a mellow, slowly into an intense vibration, back down to mellow. This is not the quietest of toys at full speed, but not too loud to wake the neighbours up. The Jack has an easy-to-use control pad. All the buttons are easily accessed with your thumb while holding it. When you first turn it on, the panel lights up with a purple glow. As you change through the rabbits 10 speeds the light flashes with the pattern of the vibration and glows brighter the quicker rotation speed. This is quite a heavy toy, even without the batteries inserted. This requires 3 x AA, which are not included. Upon reading the first review, we were expecting a monster of a toy, but it wasn’t that much bigger in girth than the other rabbit we have. Don’t get me wrong, this is a big toy in its girth - the widest point being around the bullet - but it didn’t pose a problem upon use for us, but everyone’s anatomy is different. The overall length is 10” and the insertable length about 4.5 - 5”, the toy is designed to stimulate the G-spot with its tip and bullet, so it is a perfect length for the job. The first time trying it out we were a bit apprehensive due to reading the review regarding the “Jumpy Sensation” as not knowing what to expect, but when the “O” was achieved, the OH could understand what they meant. It wasn’t a uncomfortable sensation, it just felt different to any other toy we have. The “O” wasn’t that intense the first time, but we think it was due to being a bit apprehensive. With now experiencing the new sensation, the OH could relax and enjoy using it. The next few times we tried the Jack out, the “O” became more intense with getting used to the sensation of bullet riding on the beads. The Jack is nice and easy to clean and dry as it has a smooth shaft and not a shape of a penis head with grooves to clean. This toy is waterproof, but we have yet had the opportunity to try it out. The battery compartment lid fits well with a rubber seal and where the rubber meets the plastic base seems to have a good seal. I wouldn’t hesitate in trying the Jack out in the shower or the bath. All in all, this is a great toy and we would recommend giving it a try out.

Perfect size and shape

Slightly bigger in girth than the standard rabbit vibrator, but not so big that it is uncomfortable. Toy is quite heavy and can make your arm ache after a while, if you can last that long! Very powerful and not too noisy. Overall, this is a very good toy and would buy it again.

Good but not that good

So having worn my last rabbit out I did a fair amount of research before I bought a new one. When I came across Jack Rabbit extra girth I was instantly sold! My parcel arrived and three AA batteries later I was off playing already. The variety of functions are great with the little rabbit ears but if held anywhere other than the control panel area or pressed a bit harder on my clit the vibrations stop. Very frustrating when you are trying to reach an orgasm - too much of a tease for me. I even tried different batteries but it still does the same thing. The rest of the vibrator is phenomenal with alternative directions in the "penis" and the bullet is awesome plus the extra girth and my G-spot is very happy.

It's Big

I bought Jack Rabbit Extra Girth vibrator because, although I usually go for clit stim, I have been experimenting with G-spot orgasms and thought I needed something 'girthy'. This vibe has good points and bad, and it will depend on your personal preference as to whether you will like this. Firstly, the size! I normally go for slim vibes so this was a bit daring for me. It does say 'advanced' on the packaging and I would most certainly agree with that. This is not for beginners. You will need plenty of lube to get this in. On the plus side, the size of the vibrator means you do feel everything and this can be very intense and satisfying. I don't normally buy rubber vibes (preferring silicone), but as this is very big. I did like the texture as it was comfortable upon climax. It is softer when squeezed. However, the bunny ears are not firm enough for me and I needed an extra vibrator to stimulate the clit. This is not unusual for me, so it did not put me off. I have a love hate relationship with the extra bullet vibrator which is placed over the beads. Initially it felt very uncomfortable, borderline painful. I thought, 'I hate this'. But not giving in, I played with the positioning, tilting my body upwards (have pillows at hand). Once I had found the right spot - it felt amazing! It was like electricity running through my body. When it is going you really have to hang on to it! It is so powerful it moves around and you need a strong hand to keep it in place. I found it better with my H as I went hands free and he held it where it should be. The power. Very, very good. I was impressed with the power of the internal motor, considering this is run on batteries. I normally choose rechargeable vibes because I hate it when the batteries run down in the middle of things and are often just not powerful enough for me. Not so with the Jack Rabbit! The patterns on the rabbit were also good. I liked the control panel and found it easy to use. I wish this had come with a drawstring bag. Being rubberised, it really does pick up every bit of lint. It needs a thorough clean not only after (obviously) but just before. Make sure you have wipes on hand and consider a plastic container where you can keep things clean in between use. What did I like the most about this vibrator? I like the rotating head. I have had rotating heads in the past but not to this scale. I felt amazing! I love the whole movement of it and it really does feel 'alive' when it's in and going - this improves fantasy. So although it has many downsides this will certainly be one to go to every now and then when I want to switch things up. It won't replace my everyday vibes, but it is fun to use. Anyone considering buying this - don't be put off by any initial discomfort. Play and find the right positioning. Don't be put off by the batteries either - it is still very powerful and so far they have not run down quickly. Definitely not for beginners!

Just (no) Jack

I was kindly offered the opportunity by Lovehoney to test Jack. I must admit, when I was asked if I would be interested in reviewing this item I firstly thought "why me?!" I've only ever tried one rabbit vibrator and hated it! Then I realised that I was probably the best person to put Jack to the test as I had nothing to loose and everything to gain! Upon receiving Jack and not knowing what to expect, my first thought was that Jack was a big boy. Seriously, how on earth was I going to fit this in my hoo-ha. It's a beast and I generally don't like big, girthy, weighty toys. I make Jack 5.5" in girth, 5" insertable length and 422g. Why me? The packaging (if you're fussed) is not that great. The toy arrives in a clear plastic casing with the cardboard details slipped inside. My advice, throw it straight away and store it in a safe satin pouch. The only thing I really took note of on the packaging was that there was a big tick next to the word "advanced" Gulp. Why me? I like clit stimulation so decided to focus on the ears first. They are really soft, flexible and non-pointy, which is already more appealing. The nose of the bunny is also more prominent than the other rabbit I have tried which excited me. My clit was going to love this with its 10 different vibrations and patterns! The only problem being I had to battle the length and girth of the shaft to receive my bunny reward. Something which still frightened me. Jack took me a good 5 attempts before I began to get anywhere on the pleasure scale. I could barely even insert the tip to start with. Not wanting to give up, I tried a different position which was my eureka moment. Laying on my back, bum hanging off the edge of the bed, legs bent, feet resting on the wall. This allowed me to insert the toy further than I had before and feel the very tips of the ears start to tickle my clit. More, more, I wanted more. I tried and tried again (seriously, I never knew I had so much determination) same position, more lube and my desire building. I struggled to get over the hump of the extra bullet, which because of this the shaft is not round and smooth as you might expect and is quite an awkward shape. With a little extra push I was pretty much there with inserting the toy. Starting to relax I enjoyed the different patterns of the ears and started to enjoy the sensation of the rotating head and beads. As I began to feel myself getting closer to orgasm and my muscles tightening and clenching round the toy, the whole toy started to get jumpy. Panicking, I removed it slightly and it stopped. I tried again and the same thing happened. I finished my play time early to investigate. What I believe happens is that as your muscles tighten and grip around the shaft where the extra bullet is it pushes the bullet in which catches on the rotating beads. The beads then push the bullet up and down as they whizz round, which gives the jumpy sensation which is very unpleasant and quite painful. If you grip the toy tightly with your hands you can feel the change in sensation. I tried inserting the toy again and having the beads on a faster rotation, but the same thing happened only worse! Ouch. Sadly, Jack did not give me my first rabbit orgasm and I'm still waiting for the toy that's going to convert me in to a bunny lover. But if you are maybe a bit more experienced than I am and (not being rude) have looser vaginal muscles than I do, then Jack might be good for you.
