It has a satin side that feels really good against the skin for teasing strokes and also is a bit more gentle for build up or if you aren't a fan of really stingy smacks. If you are, though, the leather side really packs a punch and leaves a really cute heart shaped red mark; so hot! It's completely non-intimidating in look and perfect for beginners in impact play as it can be soft and gentle or pretty powerful! Really love this crop and a staple in our toybox.

Great for beginners

I have wanted to try using something like this for a while now, but my partner was a little dubious. To ease her in we went for this first rather than anything more advanced. The look and feel of this cute little crop reassured her immediately. It's smooth, soft, and very stylish. The heart shape really helped too. The crop is not too big, but a nice size for when you want to really crack it down a bit! The leather side left a beautiful red mark on my skin and the stinging just enhanced everything for me. It made my partner feel more dominant, and in control. We used this along side one of Lovehoney's very own love eggs and it made for a wonderful evening! One of our favourite toys

This has become quite a regular for us in the bedroom. I bought a few items from LH at once and this was the one the got my BF the most excited by far! I wasn't sure if I would like it, but I thought I would give it a try and I am so glad that I did. It's quite good for beginners, but you can also definitely get some power behind it! Perfect for when we are also using out LH under mattress restraints.

Just enough sting

This riding crop is amazing with its soft and hard side. The soft side is perfect for gentle play and the hard side is great for rougher play. Leaves minimal marking but allows the great redness, and the sounds are amazing. Great for beginners as it’s easy enough to use.

I found this to be a very good starting point into using something like this. We found it very fun, both myself and my partner enjoyed using it. It’s a cute design and perfect addition to our collection. Would 100% recommend this. I hope you all enjoy and happy spanking.

I've always wanted to try using something like this and this was such a great product to start with. My partner loved it as well. It was sturdy and caused just enough pain for it to still be pleasurable! So glad I actually tried this! We've now started getting into paddles and more thicker products.

It is a little on the cheap side but what can you expect for the price It does its job but could be better quality but for the price is definitely Worth it Does what you want it to and isn’t too painful it’s the right amount of pain The love heart makes it A little more romantic than it just being kinky which is a nice touch

Great introduction

I got the idea of purchasing this product after I saw some beautiful marks made with something similar. I was really keen on having some heart-shaped reminders on my body. I was not disappointed. The faux leather side has a good sting and it is easy enough to manoeuvre alone, if I am playing solo. The heart shaped head is quite large, so the pain is not too intense or concentrated. Would recommend.

Look, it leaves little hearts on your bum

But, I couldn’t look as every time I turned another impact left another little heart embossed on my anatomy. Like some other reviewers we have played with a flogger but this was a step into the unknown with a crop. And what an illuminating step it turned out to be. The crop is not too intimidating in looks but my OH was still a little nervous about using it and her first taps showed this. Then she put a little more power into one stroke and the resultant groan led her to increasing both power and frequency. This in turn led to a little squeal of pleasure as she noted the heart shaped marks being left after each stroke. This item ticked all the boxes for us, it makes the swishing noise as it goes through the air and a wonderful thwack as it makes impact. The loop of leather on the handle ensures that it doesn’t go pinging off around the bedroom if my OH gets a little energetic and it is a good length which means lamps and ornaments don’t go flying during the backswing. The next morning I awoke to my OH tracing the outline of hearts on my buttocks and thighs with her nails and that started something else going with another LH product I now have to review!

That said I find the thin nature of it while making it feel a bit more delicate really lends to the movement of it for longer more sting inducing slaps. It also adds versatility in the level of sting or thud you can achieve with this crop.

This is the first spanking implement I have bought. In terms of looks, I really like the cute satin-covered heart, and the handle has some nice detail whilst also being a good comfortable firm grip. I enjoyed the softness of the paddle end for stroking the length of my partner's body contrasting with the strong sting when hit hard. I didn't have any problems the first time as I was using it on a partner and they had quite a low pain tolerance, so I didn't put it much to the test.However, when my partner used it on myself it totally fell apart during a good hard spanking session, which was a bit awkward, though an old fashioned shoe saved the day in the end. I was really disappointed that it was so flimsy! It is on the cheaper side for a crop, but I've seen other reviews say it has fallen apart on first use, so really it's just ornamental rather than practical at all, making it pretty pointless in my view.
