Flattering and sexy

I love the idea of stocking and being easily accessible, but they can be a pain to wear. I saw these and they seemed like the perfect solution, I was a little worried they might be a bit unkind to my midriff, which is far from toned, but I actually found them very flattering and comfortable. I felt very sexy in them and my bf thought the same. The only issue I had was the waist of the tights coming up higher on me than in the picture, though at 5'1'' this is an issue I'm used to with tights! I'm already on my second pair and recommend!

Sexy and simple

I love seeing my wife in stockings but who has the time to clip and unclip and arrange stockings with a belt every day. These are brilliant for just quickly throwing on and making any outfit pop. The material is soft and silky. As a size 10-12 the fit is really good. The material stretches, doesn't pinch, doesn't feel constrictive. At 5ft7 the length is nice as well but with the "straps" being one length the tops of the stockings are a little low for a short dress/skirt. They wash really well too and as yet no bobbling has occurred.

Comfortable, practical, just not quite Sexy

I was looking for something that I could comfortably wear out under a dress, whilst still being able to surprise the OH as soon as we got in the door, so when this came up to test I (metaphorically) jumped in the air screaming "Me please! The packaging is much the same as most Dreamgirl packaging: cardboard slip/box, with a full-length picture of the models front on the front and her back… on the back. Simple, informative, and perfectly adequate. Taking these out of the box, I was pleased to see they are very opaque without being too thick, and look very well made. The material is fairly stretchy and strong. I’m confident they won’t ladder any time soon. Once on they take a bit of adjusting. I think there’s almost too much length in the ‘straps’ for me, but I easily managed to pull everything into place. I’m just over 5ft and the top of the stockings (before the straps) come up just over mid-thigh. Although due to the stretchiness they can sit lower or be pulled higher, they just seem to sit more naturally at that height. They don’t dig into my thighs at all, which are size 8/10. The ‘belt’ part sits best higher on me (like belly button height), which might be because I’m quite short. I think you could get away with most heights in these, although the taller end of the spectrum might struggle a little with the height the ‘tops’ sit at as this stretches easily on the straps but not so much on the actual leg. Similarly, bigger sizes might struggle with the calf and thigh area as, whilst it is stretchy, there does seem to be a limit to the amount it will stretch. I wouldn’t feel confident recommending them to someone bigger than a size 12. I loved wearing them out under a dress as they look like normal tights (with a mid-length or longer dress). For bedroom use you can team them with any of your lingerie pieces that lack suspender clips, although I quite liked the look of them just with black knickers and bra, as it felt like quite a bold look. When wearing out and about there’s no tell-tale suspender clips showing through skin-tight dresses, and you get to avoid the clips digging into you when you sit down. You also get to skip the awkward fumbling that is attaching suspender clips to stockings and no chance of them randomly pinging off. And unlike ‘hold-ups’ they won’t surrender to gravity and slip down your legs. My only improvement would be some pattern detailing at the top, (out of eyeline when wearing a dress) just to make it sexier to look at. I love these, and they’ve survived the wash. (Rarely happens with my stockings and tights), so hopefully I get to continue to enjoy them for a long time.

I could wear them, but just a little neat, the main issue is that the suspender strap is very long, again, this may be better for smaller ladies who can pull the band higher up or if you like your stocking height short.

I bought this item three times and the first time they laddered on the third wear, the next two on the second wear. After the first time, I thought it was my fault and the second I gave it the benefit of the doubt again but when it happened the third time I was just disgusted. They look lovely on but the quality is clearly not good enough!
