Beautiful Bra Set

I kindly received this stunning 'Pearl and Lace Bra Set' from Lovehoney in return for an honest review. Thank you, LH! This lingerie is so elegant, gorgeous and incredibly sexy! The 'Pearl' colour reminds me of Rose Gold, and this colour combined with the black is so beautiful. Firstly, the knickers are so lovely and feel really comfortable on. I love the Pearl straps and they don't dig in at all. The bottoms are a bit fuller than the average thong too, which I really like, and I like the way they make my bottom look. Next, the suspender belt; it is so beautiful! It is so unique in it's style and design. I am a size 12 and it sits nicely around my waist and attaches easily to stockings. The suspender belt definitely brings this whole set together to add that sexy and feminine look. I love bras that aren't padded so for me. This bra is definitely a bonus! The added black frill surrounding the bottom of the bra, once again, is lovely too, and I always love the cute little trademark Lovehoney heart on LH underwear! You can also adjust the straps on the bra for comfort and support. I am 32DD, and although my breasts fit in the size Medium bra and I felt my breasts looked good in the bra, personally I would maybe have preferred a little bit more coverage on the bra. This also came with beautiful black lace and pearl material wrist cuffs, which was a wonderful surprise and also perfectly matched this gorgeous set!

Uniquely beautiful

I have to say I don't think I've ever owned something so pretty and detailed in lingerie before. For reference I am 5'2, size 12, 34DD. When I opened up this package I fell in love with this. The detailed pattern on the soft black lace is quite art deco, and incredibly beautiful. The bra didn't offer me much in the way of lift or support, which was a shame because then I lost some of the shape and detail of the long-length band. This is definitely a perky boobs piece. The suspender belt we lovely and wide, and on my short frame almost made this look like a one-piece. Theres enough stretch to fit bit not so much that you loose any definition. The material of the bow is so interesting. While it looks like satin, it almost feels like soft faux leather. An amazing detail that changes the whole feel from subtle and girly to sexy and sultry. The thing for well. The lace is not at all irritating and the pink contrasting sides added another tactile sensation that really makes this piece stand out.

It's Pearl-fect

This colour is incredible. Paired with the lace it creates a really special set. To start with the lace is super soft. Just running your fingers across it you can feel how high quality it is. The pearl-ey bits feel strong and supportive and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the creation of this set. I am a size 8/10 on top and a 10 (maybe even 12 after all the lockdown snacks I've consumed) on the bottom with small far apart 32C boobs. I was under no illusion that this set was going to give me a big cleavage, the soft cups are beautiful, but they aren't enchanted. Despite not having the most boobage, the top looked lovely and really flattered my figure. The suspender belt has a bit of stretch to it and was a lovely addition. The pants are amazing. I've worn them on their own a few times simply because of how comfortable and soft they are. This has quickly become one of my favourite sets, not just because of how much I have warmed to the pants! I would 100% recommend this, especially if you want to give the gift of yourself this Christmas - you'll be wrapped up already!

My best set yet

Love love love! The colour combo, the lace, the cuffs, the high waisted belt... amazing! Really high quality and it screams it. I'm a size 12 with a big chest and the set fits great. Just remember that it is a half-cup bra (very sexy, but there might be some extra spillage).

Clutch My Pearls

As a lover of both lingerie and rose gold, I of course seized the invitation to test this sumptuous set. Now, to be frank, I already knew enough about my own lingerie preferences in general and LH's sizing in particular to have a good idea of how this set would fit and what I would like or dislike about it. First I will remark that I definitely love the colour scheme as well as the pattern of the lace, which I had little doubt I would. Though I was surprised to find that the shiny, pink gold parts are a lurex-type material; I had assumed it was satin from the preview image. (This was a super secret tester, so there was no product information page at the time and the Faux Leather part wasn't in the product title that I recall.) I think I would have preferred satin, but it's not bad as it is, certainly looks-wise. And let's be honest, probably stays tied better than satin tends to. But be warned that because it is a plastic-y material, it is stiffer, and may need to be hand-washed if you wish to preserve it as long as possible. Also- and I haven't tried this yet, but will- I wonder how it would look if I polished it up with some latex shiner? The fit of the bra and thong were also pretty predictable. It's not often realistic for a person with either larger-than-average or smaller-than-average boobage to expect a great fit in generic sized bras, especially with underwired cups. Soft cups are a little better though, for the larger ladies at least. So as I surmised, this bra barely contains me. However, it covers enough without digging in to be redeemable. I am currently around a 38DD (down a few sizes since my last review) and tried a size Large. It was immediately noticeable to my partner that it was too small, but he also said it looked nice overall anyway, and I agree. Not as sexy and flattering as it should be, but still pretty. The band and straps fit comfortably enough. The design is to die for and the lace scalloping at the bottom didn't insist on rolling up, though I didn't spend a long time wearing it. The thong, in theory, should have fit better than it did. Thongs in sets are often throwaways to me, even pretty ones, because they frequently don't fit right and many times are just cheap afterthoughts from the start. I have nothing bad to say on the quality in this case, but the fit does not flatter my hips at all. Your mileage may vary of course. Again, generic sizing with no mix-and-match options are very hit-and-miss. I have wide hips and am currently somewhere in the range of 14/16/sometimes 18 trouser size (generic sizing strikes again!) and the only way I could get this G-string to not disrupt my silhouette was to pull the sides up high to my waist like an early 00's trashy teen. I believe this is because, although the lace is very soft and stretchy, the lurex straps are rather less giving. And since those are the bits that sit on your hips, they dig in. I can't see myself wearing it again, but the good news is that this set functions just fine without it. And any one piece can be changed out with other, better fitting ones. But now for the best part: the suspender belt.nThis is easily my favourite part of the set, and the one that I am most assured of wearing again, with or without the rest of the set. The lovely lace pattern is on full display here and you still get the contrast of the rose gold from the tie belt. The lace is soft but it stays put, though I will need to wear it longer to say whether that stays true. I was a little worried about the plastic boning. I thought perhaps it would dig in or roll up, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it did neither. As a bonus, the suspenders are detachable, so you can wear with or without stockings. Or- and this is what I am excited to try next- wear it as a waist cinch over a dress or tunic on a night out. Last, I must admit that I haven't as of writing this tried the matching cuffs. They look nice and could be a spicy little bonus for a bit of soft tie-and-tease or just to complete the aesthetic. I'm used to a bit more advanced bondage at this point, so it's a toss up whether I'll ever decide to give them a go on a whim. But hey, it's something extra and I can appreciate the idea and the coordination. All told, this is a set that can be versatile and beautiful to look at. It has its flaws but I'm still in mild lust with it nonetheless. I will certainly consider trying out more of this Pearl and Lace line. I'm a sucker for the colour. If nothing else, the suspender belt will get plenty of wear. I would hazard to say that it will be most worthwhile to those with a modest bust size and/or slenderer hips. I, with all disclaimers in place, advise those who are in-between sizes and those with rounder hips and/or bigger busts to try a size up.

All tied up

My wife and I love a little restraint in the bedroom, and this lingerie does a fantastic job of adding it with a touch of class at the same time. The rosy pink colour is really lovely, but the black lace in particular stands out to me as looking fantastic. It's such a unique, beautiful design and it's really feminine without looking too flowery or frilly. My wife has had bad luck getting bras that aren't full-cup to fit her before, and we're happy to report that not only did this fit, but it made her breasts look great. Excellent! The thong was tremendously comfy and sexy, and putting it all on made her feel fantastic. I'd love more lingerie sets with cuffs, they add a real spark.

Never known a pearl like you before...

LOVE this set. From the super-flattering cut to the beautiful combo of shimmering faux leather and scalloped lace, it's just beautiful. It looks so much for expensive than it is, and I just love the longline style of the bra with its delicate lace trim. The waist-cinching belt is super flattering, and the peep-hole knickers are a sexy alternative to a thong/G-string. I'm 5 foot, a size 10/12 and 34 DD, and the Medium fit me perfectly. Would be great to have the option of high-waisted knickers rather than a suspender belt and knickers for us shorter/curvier folk.

The sexiest most luxurious set

This set is amazing! I was drawn to it because of the more expensive look it had to it, and it definitely looks and feels like it could be from a high end lingerie brand! Love the attention to detail on this set, the gorgeous lace and the lovely silk, not only does this set look nice, it also feels nice and is super comfortable! Happy to say that the lace is nice and sturdy, definitely won't be accidentally poking a hole through it. The handcuffs are also a nice little addition to introduce a little bondage play into the bedroom. Would definitely love to see this set with some high waisted knickers, although the suspender belt is beautiful, it would be nice to be able to wear the full set (minus the handcuffs) under my clothes (it is too beautiful to not want to wear all the time!). Lovehoney are definitely upping their lingerie game and I'm super excited to see what more lingerie Lovehoney bring out in the future.

I do adore this set.The lace complimented by the pearl like sheen is just gorgeous.The suspender belt adds sexiness and is delicate, the knickers are simple but do not overwhelm the set and the handcuffs are a lovely touch.The only issue I had is with sizing.The bra was unfortunately too small and gave the dreaded 4 boob look which is never great.Overall I do love this set but unfortunately it is one of the sets the sizing just didn't work for me!

Sexy with a 'naughty' feel

As a curvy, larger size I always struggle to find lingerie that fits right, looks great and that I feel sexy in. I am extremely happy to say that this set ticks all the boxes. The queen size fits my curves well, there wasn't any stretching and it covered where I thought it should. The material has a lovely feel to it and the lace and faux leather added a touch more 'naughty' to the look. But the key was that I felt extremely sexy and confident wearing it - especially when I surprised the OH with it. The look of pleasure and desire that came into his eyes said that this was an excellent purchase.

So.....all i have to say is wow! I bought this a few months ago in my correct side (medium) and it was a bit ill fitted, i'm a 34 D and I felt I was falling out... so I returned it even though I really liked it but I couldn't justify the price at the time. Few months later I saw it went down in sale and they had a size large in stock so I thought i'd try my luck and put it on the tightest clips. When it arrived it fits perfectly! The cups are a lot more comfortable and overall a lovely fit. i'm about a 10-12 and the 14-16 was best but i think its just purely due to the half cup design. Just something to consider if you have a bust larger than a B/C. Would recommend :)
