However, the egg settings don't match up to the remote settings. Starting with the egg button will automatically put it on the highest intensity. But if you turn it on via the remote, it will start on the lowest intensity. Pressing the egg button continuously will only allow you to flick through the patterns and there appears to be no way to change the intensities. If you press the egg button after using the remote, it will also go to the next one except on the highest intensity. So if your lose/break the remote, you will be stuck with a very powerful vibe. The box has a product photo on the front, and full product description, and features are on the side. On the opposite side of the box, there are instructions on how to use the love egg. Inside the box, you will find the love egg, remote control, and charger cable. Everything is hygienically sealed in a plastic bag. Love eggs are really fun and versatile sex toys and I have more than a few in my collection, but this one intrigued me as it was larger than any other love eggs I’ve tried before. When I removed it from the box I was pleasantly surprised, I wasn’t expecting it to be as big. This love egg measures 5” in circumference and 3” in length, and it weights 87 grams. The Lovehoney Rechargeable Remote Control Large Love Egg is very high quality. The love egg is firm and is coated in a high quality silicone, making it phthalate free and body safe, it feels very smooth and as no drag to it. The retrieval cord is 2” long and is made from plastic. The egg itself is a bright pink colour, but thankfully the remote control is black, so it’s very discreet. The Lovehoney Rechargeable Remote Control Large Love Egg arrives with a partial charge, but I recommend charging it fully before first use to avoid disappointment. It’s easy to charge, simply plug the connector into the self-healing charging point on the egg and the USB port into a laptop/charging port. A full charge takes 140 minutes and will give you about 40 minutes of playtime, depending on the settings used. Before inserting the love egg you need to switch it on to standby mode, to do this press and hold the button on the love egg for 2 seconds, two bright pink LED lights will come on letting you know standby mode is on. A water based lubricant is needed to insert this love egg as its quite big. Its also a chunky shape and not tapered at the ends, so taking your time inserting it is important. Once inserted it’s fine and feels wonderful. This love egg features 4 speeds and 7 patterns and the vibrations are very powerful, there is also the option to adjust the intensity of the vibrations and patterns. The remote control is battery powered and is very easy to use. There is circular control panel with 5 buttons, an on/off button in the centre, an up and down button to control intensity, and at either side a wave button to change the speeds/patterns. It is very responsive and works up to about 6 metre distance. This love egg can be used alone without the remote, but you can’t decrease the intensity and its very powerful! The vibrations start off rumbly but on the higher speeds they do become more buzzy, but it’s a small price to pay for the power from this love egg. I first tried this love egg out on my own and it was a very enjoyable experience. I put the remote control in my pocket and went about my daily chores. When I first switched it on it took my breath away, it was very stimulating, I couldn’t concentrate on housework and had to lay down. This love egg keeps you on the edge, each pulsating pattern gives a different sensation and a few times I felt so close to orgasm.
