This Lovehoney Passion Flower Purple Basque Set is absolutely beautiful, it's the most beautiful shade of purple and I'm totally in love with it. It feels and looks simply stunning to wear, comfortable and tastefully sexy, I especially adore the open front, giving a lovely tantalizing view of my cleavage. I'm amazed by the amount of support it gives my 32F breasts. The underwires fit to perfection, no uncomfortable digging in at all and the basque is adjustable at the back of the bra section via a little metal slider. The mesh body of the basque is so supportive, I'm amazed how it hides every little lump and bump and makes my body look amazing, it really does hold everything in ladies, so if like me you've never tried this type of basque before I highly recommend it. The lace flower detail down the front is simply gorgeous, pink, silver and purple, with every flower matching up to perfection, so feminine and a beautiful touch which extends down the front to the suspender straps. I love the little pink crisscrossed straps at the front, they sit perfectly just above my breasts and really do help to accentuate everything. The underwires come up and sit perfectly between my breasts, and there's a lovely little finishing touch of a Lovehoney silver heart sitting between my breasts. The back is cut deep and looks so sexy with its gorgeous lace flower details and pink criss-cross straps to match the trim on the front. Even the suspender straps are trimmed at the bottom with pretty pink satin, so typical of Lovehoney's own brand lingerie, such great attention to every little detail, amazing quality. The thong is a little triangle but even the gusset is lined on it. The basque itself is one size and fits from an 8-16, I'm 5'3, size 10-12 and a 32F, the basque fits me well and it's easy to get on, yet very supportive when it's on, which I wasn't really expecting it to be, but believe me, ladies, it hides all the bumps and looks amazingly sexy, this one was most definitely a 'WOW' when I put it on. I feel really sexy in it, and it looks amazing, this is definitely one purchase that you in your sexy lingerie drawer. It's easy to hand wash and drip-dried pretty quickly.

Floral Fantasy

At first glance, I totally fell in love with the colours of this set. Such a rich purple with the blues and pinks and whites in the floral lace pattern. The eye is captured instantly by that pattern, dragged up the centre of the form and across the breasts, and then taken by the criss-cross of velvety lace corseting the otherwise open centre. Perfect for easy access nipple play. The underwire does give some support in the chest area, but as a busty person I struggled a little to tie the halterneck part well enough to keep my chest in a position that looked and felt good and didn't slip. But that comes down to my bow tying technique more than anything haha I am a chunkier person also and I did struggle to keep it from rolling up over my tummy a little, too. But that was also because I tested it without any attached stockings and I think they'd really be necessary for this set. I just didn't happen to have any that matched. I love that the criss-cross and the lace continues over the butt too. It's such a nice touch and I love when behind isn't forgotten, as it's otherwise quite bare back there, with the open back. The piece is well made, with good strong stitching. It survived me pulling it on and off over my sometimes unforgiving curves. And the lace retained its shape even over my form. A really pretty pattern and seriously gorgeous colours. It's so bold and attention grabbing. I didn't feel any itch or irritation from the lace either and found the rest was sheer, but not too sheer to lose colour. I could still see my tattoo clearly under it and that's all I want. Would always recommend a stitch ripper to carefully remove the labels, so you can't see them under the sheer fabric while also not getting label itch from jaggedly cut labels. Again, not a big fan of thongs but the shape worked with the design of the piece, so I can't complain. It's really more of a personal preference. My partner loves this piece though and I think maybe in the future it might make a nice addition to some lingerie shoot or another. I'm always a sucker for lingerie in gorgeous colours and patterns and this didn't disappoint.

Upon opening the discreet packaging, the product was stored in a clear, plastic sleeve and the first thing I thought was how pretty the colours are on this basque! A gorgeous, vibrant purple and pink colour and such a lovely difference to my lingerie drawer of blacks and reds! Perfect for a hot summer's night of passion! The basque is so pretty and feels really luxurious and soft! The flower detailing on the cups and running down the middle of the basque is gorgeous and makes for really feminine, delicate feeling lingerie! I adore the fact that it isn't padded as I love non-padded lingerie so this is an added bonus for me. I also really like the halterneck element to this basque and would also love this design in a halterneck bra and thong set. You can also adjust the strap running around your back to your liking and it also unhooks for ease on putting it on and taking it off. The sizing on this lingerie states One Size and I am a curvy Size 12 and upon putting this on, I found it to be slightly snug on my hips and it rolls up in bed without the suspenders on but with the suspenders on it stays in place! My husband really liked this basque on me and thought it made my breasts look great! The matching purple G-string is really comfortable and a great fit.

This body is absolutely beautiful. I love how vibrant the colours are. The colours are very different to most lingerie I have and gave me a sexy, fun summer feel. I have this in 1x-2x. I am 5ft10 and a dress size 18-20 with a 38/40C bust. When it arrived I was a little concerned as it looked small. Don’t be fooled though as it fitted me just right ! It sculpted my body and highlighted my curves in a positive way. As a plus size woman I worry about my lower stomach being to on show however this covered me nicely. I found it very comfortable and wore it for the duration of the evening. The material is super soft and comfortable and washes up rely well. I would definitely recommend this set as it’s very different from your usual colours and makes a lovely change.

I received this item to test in exchange for an honest review, thank you, Lovehoney. It arrived in the usual plain and discreet box, wrapped in a plastic bag. I opened it up and discovered a gorgeous royal blue with pink and white accents suspender basque set. This blue is my favourite colour so without further ado, I decided to give it a quick try-on. It's a gorgeous royal blue stretchy net material that has a pink and white lace panel in a flattering shape down the centre. The same lace is on the bra cups. It has a halter-neck fastening that can be tied to fit and an adjustable slider strap across the back. It has four suspender straps and also has a plain blue G-string to match. On trying it on I found the bra cups to be a wee bit small, though the underwiring was a great fit for me (I'm a 38DD in most bra brands). The lace is stretchy so with a little adjustment, I got the girls in just right. The bra cups lead up to the halter tie which comes around the collar bones like a choker. The tie itself is soft and not too narrow so is comfortable. There's also a decorative pink trim that crosses across the decolletage that brings the top of the cups together. This little detail is clever as it makes the bra part very sexy by drawing the eye to the cleavage. The body of the basque is a stretchy blue net with the pink and white lace going down the centre in a flattering shape that will emphasize the shape of your waist and hips. The four suspender straps are adjustable which is a plus. The basque is slightly shaped at the hem which is also very flattering. I did find this basque smaller than usual for Lovehoney lingerie so was particularly glad in this instance for the stretchy material. I'm usually an 18/20 in most brands but I'd say if you're a good size 20 you may find this a bit too tight for you. I always like to get my partner's point of view before writing a review as I'd only buy this type of lingerie for the bedroom. He'd been away working so he barely had time to set his things down before I "unveiled" myself in my latest lingerie. His shower and dinner were soon forgotten - as were my concerns about this set being a little tight! I can happily report that the way this basque framed my cleavage was very much appreciated by my partner! The easy access granted by both the design of the bra and the halter neck tie is very handy. If your partner is a boob man (or woman) I think this set will definitely set their pulse racing.

Makes me feel so pretty

This set is so beautiful and pretty it's unreal. Not usually a fan of the florals I wanted to try something new and this Basque is perfect. The cut and shape of it is so flattering even when of a larger size like me (20-22). The bust section has to be my favourite design, I absolutely love the lace design and the pink and purple go so beautifully together. The underwires hold everything in place, though they are a touch on the narrow side. The halterneck is really flattering and for once does not completely cover up the cleavage but gives the perfect balance and the elesticated cross between the cleavage is very sexy. This cross is matched on the reverse side at the bottom and again gives a lovely shape over the derrière. The lace panel down the front is very flattering and beautiful fabric with the rest being soft, slinky and stretchy. My personal preference would be to have something that would tie in the waist more, especially those with larger figures it can be nice to accentuate the waist. Size wise the product is plus size and I would say that it would be comfortable up to a size 18-20 and did feel a little tight for me but the stretchy material is very forgiving and it does fit albeit just. I am 5ft 7 and the bodice is a good length tho I would also prefer a little longer. The thong is plain and fits well but not much more to say about it really. Shame it didn't incorporate even a small bit of lace on it but I get why being under the set. All in all I do really love this set, it's stunning colours make for something different in my collection and I just cannot get over the bust section I absolutely love it!!!!
