Escante Blue Floral Lace Cami Set

Pretty set but camisole top looked ridiculous

I had the Escante longline blue and pink floral set on my wishlist for years(!) and thought I'd better snap it up as payday had arrived. I bought the Large set as I've gained more than a few pandemic pounds of late, but according to the size chart it would fit me (5'9, bra size 38C/40B, size 18/20 depending on the retailer). Kudos to LH as always for their speedy delivery and discreet packaging! The set arrived in basic plastic packaging, nothing fancy. The blue and pink material was beautiful up close and felt soft to the touch. The French knickers were low rise, not exactly my preferred style, but they fitted quite well and made my derrière look fabulous. However, the cami top looked ridiculous on my upper body. I have small boobs anyway, but the triangle bralette cups were tiny and way out of proportion with the rest of the top. Also the straps were too long and there was no adjuster to shorten them. It was no use pulling the straps down at the back and hiking the cups up at the front either as the underbust seam then sat over my breasts instead of underneath them. Despite the unique long-line design, the tiny triangles along with the long thin straps just didn't work, nor look right on me; I'd have to send it back. That said, I wanted to keep the French knickers but as they came as part of the set I knew I had to return them too. Nevertheless, the returns process was a breeze and I was refunded soon after.
