Babydolls are possibly my fav all time lingerie, and the new serenity certainly hits the spot. The material this is made of is lovely and soft, which can be a bit hit and miss with other brands' sheer material, and feels amazing on. The halterneck style shows allows a bit of additional support with the adjustable cross back, although this is a babydoll, so don't expect oddles of support! There was enough to make sure the girls stayed in place, but don't be expecting to go jogging in this! The zig zag pattern really sets this off with the additional crossing over the cleavage, and the band just under the breasts makes this flow nicely, and seems to hang just right. The matching underwear is also lush, and certainly not the cheap looking string you can often get in 2 piece sets. The zig zag pattern is carried across to this, as well as the criss cross pattern. Certainly is 'cheeky' and very sexy. Overall this is a new favourite, and has plenty of use already, babydolls, as well as being super sexy, are always good if your a bit more body conscious due to being so flowy, and this has it in abundance!

Soft and Romantic

This is a really cute piece. The soft pastel blue colour looks really lovely and romantic. This comes as a two-piece with the babydoll and matching underwear. I am a size 18-20 with size 38C ish boobs. This babydoll fits really nicely - it is soft and flowy with the gorgeous addition of the chest strappy detail that adds that extra sultriness. I sometimes have issues with the accompanying underwear that comes with these - but I really like these. They fit really well and don't highlight any flabby bits. It complements the babydoll really well. This piece has a really flirty feel to it. The tight band underneath the chest has a gorgeous lacy pattern on it which looks great. It also adds to the shape of this piece rather than it just flowing from the chest entirely. My boobs are fairly big and they don't really spill out of this. They aren't entirely supported as you would expect but I think it still looks nice. Overall, I really like this piece. It's soft and romantic and I feel really comfortable, sexy and flirty wearing it. I would definitely recommend!

Sheer Class

Privileged to be asked to test the Blue Lovehoney Plus Size Serenity Lace Babydoll Set. The plain cardboard box duly arrived with the garment contained within a clear cellophane bag. Immediately impressed with the different powder blue/grey colour with gold intertwined thread which gives this a beautiful classy look. My wife is 5ft 6", a pear shaped size 18-20 with a long torso, 38D chest and this 1x/2x fit and hung perfectly once the easily adjustable straps were lengthened. The straps give a lovely cross pattern across the back and once adjusted work in tandem with the elasticated vertical panel running across the front under the bust lending some support to the breasts. This my wife liked and felt very comfortable in. The material is very soft and durable with a sheer appeal, which gives a great view of your body whilst floating enough to hide any body insecurities. The adjustable straps also gave a nice hang to the length of the babydoll which satisfactorily sat just above the curvature of my wife's buttocks. The small transparent panel below the bust at the front again adds a little something special permitting a small glimpse of flesh through the pretty lace coloured design and is a nice addition to the overall sheer opaque look. The complimenting knickers are also of the same lacy blue and gold thread design with a criss cross pattern to the front above the pubic area leading down to an opaque full wide gusset. We particularly liked the attention to detail of the looped lace edging as the curved cut at the back of the knickers enveloped my wife's bum cheeks, making the most of a lovely peachy view! Easy to wash and durable this item in summary is a lovely colour, something different, has a classy seductive appeal with some nice finishing and made my wife feel sexy, comfortable and pretty. Mission accomplished, Lovehoney - another different and highly recommendable fun item now in our collection - thank you, we simply love this!

Sheer and sexy

This set is elegance and sexiness all rolled into one. I highly recommend it! First off I am a dress size 18-20, I’m 5ft10 tall and have a bust size 40C. I have this set in a 1x/2x and it’s perfect for my body type. The criss-cross ribbon at the front really enhances and shows off my bust. The sheer fabric flows over my body giving a beautiful silhouette, skimming past and covering all the wobbly bits of my stomach that I am not as confident about. I love the gold speckles and feel, this adds an extra element of beauty to it. By far what has impressed me the most is the knickers! They are so plus size friendly! I love how they have a wider top to cover my stomach, but they are kept sexy by the criss cross detail at the back. They are made with the same stunning material and also incorporate the gold. This set is super comfy to wear to bed if your just trying to look and feel that bit more sexy. Having said that it also looks amazing with a pair of hold ups and heels. It washes well and seems to be good quality. I’m very impressed!

Blue-min' Brilliant

I’m a sucker for any new colour lingerie. As much as I love black and red, there’s something exciting about a different colour that can really turn up the sexy in new and unexpected ways. Let me just say, there is NOTHING serene about what goes on when you wear this lingerie. It’s explosive! For reference, I’m an 18/20 on top but a 24/26 on the bottom, 40 DD/E bust, and 5'6’' in height. From my perspective there are two main camps of lingerie: structured and flexible. The first puts your bits in all the places they’re supposed to go and smooths them down while the latter is for easy wear and take off, moves with you in any kind of bend your heart desires. This babydoll set is very much in the second category. There are no hooks, zippers or buckles to contend with and every bit is designed to move with you. Basically, wearing it is easy and taking it off is just the same. It’s quick change sexy and I love that. The lack of structure in the lingerie does mean that you’re not going to get the support you might like if you’re bigger busted as there are no wires or padding. I found the fit a little on the small side on my cup size and it took some acrobatics to get my ladies fully in the top. That being said, the straps are an absolutely genius feature as the weight of my baps are distributed across my shoulders. This is sort of like a 'faux halterneck' in that it gives you that silhouette without making your neck bear the brunt of you bosom weight. Very clever! The material is soft, though perhaps a bit scratchy on first wear. I found that it softened after a gentle wash and I have no qualms with it. It’s not the softest, but it isn’t uncomfortable. The panties are very cute, and I have to give a shout out to the attention to detail with the gorgeous pattern matching of the lace on the back. Really highlights the curves! My partner said that this was by far his favourite set of the recent ones I’ve tried as the panties in addition to the perfect length of the babydoll on my booty made quite the spectacle. I’ll not 100% say this will work for everyone, but if you’re looking for a quick and easily wearable lingerie set that is lighter and more flirty, give this set a try. My partner and I are mightily enjoying it!

I was looking forward to this arriving and I was not disappointed! I am a 12-14 and I purchased the large as I don't like my lingerie tight and it fits perfectly. It is adjustable at the back as well so can be made tighter. The matching knickers with the criss-cross detail at the back are absolutely gorgeous and are not crotch-less so can be worn day to day as well as in the bedroom. The criss-cross detail at the top pulls you in while giving the look of a fuller bust. There is a slight gold touch of material around the bust and on the knickers which is hard to tell from the photos, so that was a nice surprise. The material is comfortable and not itchy, I could wear it all day! Overall a must have for the lingerie collection.

So I am 12-14, 32DD, 5'8" and I bought Medium. I am so impressed! The fit is INCREDIBLE (although if you have bigger boobs than me you might want to size up. I am only just contained) Everything is stretchy, so hardly any adjusting. The band is wide and supportive, so boobs are held in the right place comfortably. The skirt is a generous half-circle, so sleek at the waist and then flares out and flows flatteringly over hips (and lock-down tummy!) The knickers that come with it are absolutely lovely, so pretty. The full crotch means you can wear them all the time and I love that. The gorgeous blue is warm enough to look good on my tanned skin and will look good on pale skin too. The gold stitching adds luxury feel and warms everything up. All in all, it is a beautiful set, comfy enough to wear as sleep or lounge wear and flattering enough to give you all the confidence you need in and out of the bedroom. The colour and stitching makes it classy and pretty while the strapping across boobs and butt and the see-through cups make you feel super sexy. I bought this in blue and black. Please make it in more colours! I have always been impressed with the quality of Lovehoney lingerie but recently they've been making things I don't want to take off. Fantastic as Husband would like me to wear lingerie around the house, and now I definitely will.

Wow. wow. wow. wow. wow. I am in love! I am usually a size 12, I would say a bigger size 12, with 32 Ds. So I decided to go for the medium and it fit perfectly! I have westies which I am self conscious about, however, with this babydoll they were pushed together which made me feel so confident. The item is very comfortable which is a must for me, who wants to be uncomfortable! I love this came with knickers rather than a thong as these were very comfortable. I can slip this on under my everyday clothes to give my o/h a surprise when out. Overall, a must buy!

I received this at the same time as the Passion Flower babydoll which was a really good way to put two pieces of Lovehoney Lingerie to the test - one that is one size fits most, and another where you could pick a particular size.The Serenity babydoll comes in S, M and L and I picked a large to be on the safe size. I am 12/14, so I do worry about Medium sizes that cater to size 10s, especially when they come with knickers, as my hips are wider than my bust.I would say that the Serenity babydoll is a little too big on me, but I can pull it off which is the beauty of adjustable straps. Even when it's a little too big, you can adjust it to fit your shape.The material is as always of brilliant quality. The knickers were a highlight, I do appreciate it when a babydoll comes with a great pair of knickers rather than a cheap, afterthought of a thong.A beautiful piece of lingerie. Lovehoney Lingerie, you can truly do no wrong when it comes to your babydolls. My babydoll loving heart is happy.
