I find these are more comfortable to have in my mouth as I'm still able to breath through my mouth which was a concern for me, and it also doesn't cause me any jaw pain. I think that this gag would be good for beginners starting out or for anyone who is concerned about being able to breathe through their mouth or who can get jaw pain and also for anyone that has a small mouth.
