Sweet Glow Candle Set

I saw these and decided to get a set to try. Bought these to try out as hubby and I are new to massaging one another. They arrived in a plain box. No indication as to where they have come from. On opening the plain box I saw the pretty packaging and thought to myself that I might get some more of these sets for my girlfriends if I like what I see and smell. I carefully opened the pink display box and saw the perfectly packaged candles. They are in little tin like pots with lids with the scent label on so that you know which scent is which. I opened the lids to smell the three different scented variations. All of them had the most wonderful smell to them. I placed all three in different ornamental tealight holders. These are the perfect size for my new candle set. Just left them there for a while before lighting them and the room smelt amazing. The scent from these whilst unlit is just lovely, not at all overpowering. We tried massaging each other upstairs in the bedroom for the first time of using the candles. Placed each of them in corners of the room so that we could smell them individually. Once lit they have lovely light scent. No too overpowering in that respect either. We already had some oils bought for us a while ago so used those. A lovely experience having our first massage with these candles lit. The aroma filled the room and made the massages much more enjoyable for both of us. I will be buying a few more of these for pressies for the girls and myself of course.

This gift set contains 3 mini scented massage candles. There are 3 different fragrances - cherry, strawberry and vanilla. The cherry fragrance smells like a cherry bakewell and the strawberry smells like a strawberry Fruitella sweet. My favourite is Vanilla as it is a very rich creamy vanilla, almost bourbon vanilla - YUM. For me personally the cherry fragrance was a bit overpowering. To use the massage candles, first light the wick and wait around 5 minutes while the wax melts out to sides of the container. The candle fits inside the lid perfectly so you can use this to protect your surface while you wait for the oil to melt. Whilst you are waiting, take in the gorgeous relaxing aroma which soon gets you really in the mood for a massage - or anything else that takes your fancy! Once the wax has melted into oil, pour carefully into your hands and enjoy a luxurious massage. Lovehoney have used lots nourishing oils - Hemp, Avocado, Apricot Kernel, Jojoba and Coconut! The oil from the candles is really thick and luxurious and a little goes a long way - it leaves your skin feeling really soft and smooth. Overall this a really lovely little massage set - great value and very luxurious. A luxury treat for yourself or a lovely gift idea for someone special!

A treat to appeal to all the senses

This set arrives in a pretty box - pink, patterned with a scattering of little silver hearts - and comprises 3 x 60g massage candles packed in strips of tissue paper. It would make a lovely Valentine’s gift and the 3 candles would make ideal stocking fillers. The candles are designed to make skin tastily kissable - perfect for a romantic massage. The set contains cherry, strawberry and vanilla. They smell delicious too - authentic - not artificial as some scented candles can be, and they contain skin nourishing oils, so there is no need to shower off. I usually go for floral rather than fruity, but that wouldn't taste so good. I think the scents are feminine - this is your treat, ladies. With this in mind, my OH was summoned to deliver a cheeky lunchtime shoulder and foot massage... I simply couldn’t wait! Massage candles melt at a lower heat, and melt quickly, meaning that the melted wax/oil can be dripped directly onto the skin, or poured into a palm. The oil from these candles spreads onto the skin smoothly and responds well to warm fingertips. A little goes a long way and it can be worked in quite firmly before it sinks in, leaving a light fragrance (I would say the cherry smells more like almond, or marzipan). If a candle is lit in advance of play then it scents the room beautifully too - by the time we had tried all three the bedroom smelled like a sweetie shop! A lovely treat for any couple: a fragrance, taste and touch delight.

Had the cherry candle from the sweet glow trio used on me tonight by my boyfriend, 110% recommend it. Smells like cherry bakewell, leaves skin wonderfully smooth and feels luxurious too. Easy to use and low melting temperature so makes this an ideal set for those new to wax. Can't wait to experience the other two fragrances.

We've only just got into candle play and thought we'd try this pack rather than mojo soy one we buy from lovehoney. Wish we hadn't. We both found the oil stung(not burn) our intimate places a tiny bit and the oil didn't feel as nice as our usual one.Mind you I must say that all three do smell nice. We're now using them as scented candles in the bedroom.Going to stick to our tried and trusted candle.

Got this on sale! So happy I did it’s perfect to set that mood on date night! Smells amazing, Both my partner and I have health issues, me it’s MS so to have that perfect massage before or after is a great relief!
