We received these items from Lovehoney to test in return for an honest review - so here goes!

Eco pants, but a little off brand

Credit to Lovehoney for jumping on the eco-conscious bus with this new ‘Mindful Collection’ of undies made from recycled materials (and delivered in their own little compostable bag). For a complete clothing womble such as myself, who tends to buy everything apart from pants second-hand, this is a good way to keep up the ‘green is good’ attitude without the involuntary grimace at the thought of wearing pre-worn knicks.

Nice underwear in a very different colour.

These thongs was sent to us to test and review. They seems to be well made in a fine knit material made from around 90% recycled materials. The styling is modern with a narrow thong rear. The colours are unusual. One pair is a simple black, the second pair is mint green with a black waistband and the third pair is in green and black spots with a mint green waistband. The sizing seems a little small. My wife is a genuine Size 12 and the M/L size supplied was a snug but comfortable fit. I doubt whether they would be comfortable for someone who is a Size 14. To be honest my wife had a couple of misgivings at first. She does not wear thongs at all as she has the preconception that the thin rear strap will be uncomfortable and, in this particular case, she thought that the thicker material would be 'sweaty'. In fact she had to admit that she was wrong on both counts. She found the thongs very comfortable to wear and not at all sweaty. In fact she wore all three pairs on consecutive days and they have gone straight into the wash and then into her underwear drawer for daily use. The only drawback currently is that, being such an unusual colour, she has no bras that co-ordinate with them. Hopefully LH will be producing a range of bras to match this Mindful range of thongs.
